Abstract: According to one embodiment, a synthesizer for a transmitter includes a transformer, a plurality of core support units and a fixing member. The plurality of core support units includes a support plate, fixing unit and an insertion. The support plate supports a toroidal core around which the primary winding is wound. The fixing unit fixes the toroidal core to the support plate. The insertion portion is formed inside or around the toroidal core and into which the secondary winding is inserted. The fixing member includes a plurality of receiving portions to and from which the plurality of core support units are attached and detached. The plurality of receiving portions are formed along a direction in which the plurality of core support units are stacked.

Abstract: An amplification apparatus as the embodiment of the present invention includes a switching amplifier and an adjuster. The switching amplifier is driven on the basis of a control signal and amplifies an input signal to be amplified to generate an amplified signal. The adjuster adjusts at least one of the signal to be amplified and the control signal before being input into the switching amplifier. In addition, the adjuster adjusts so that timing when the control signal turns from LOW to HIGH aligns with timing when the signal to be amplified turns from LOW to HIGH, or aligns with timing when the signal to be amplified turns from HIGH to LOW.

Abstract: A calculation output unit of a digital amplitude modulation device calculates and outputs a protection index of an amplifier based on a combined output signal or an amplitude modulation signal. A first protection unit outputs to a control unit a first control signal to place an entire amplifier unit in an off-controlled state, based on the protection index. A second protection unit outputs, to the control unit, a second control signal to control an upper limit number of amplifier units that can be on-controlled in parallel and a third control signal to on/off control the upper limit number or less or the initial number of the amplifiers. The control unit on/off controls the power amplifiers based on an input sound signal, the first control signal, the second control signal, and the third control signal.

Abstract: A digital amplitude modulation device includes power amplifiers, a compositor, a filter, a measurement unit, a protection unit, and a controller. The power amplifiers are arranged in parallel and amplify an input signal in accordance with ON control and stop output in accordance with OFF control. The filter suppresses an unnecessary component to generate an AM signal. The first processing unit is formed from an analog circuit and generates a first control signal by referring to the evaluation value. Abstract: A digital amplitude modulation apparatus is provided with a measuring section, a fast surge protection section, a slow vector protection section, and a controller. The measuring section detects a voltage and a current from an RF signal. The fast surge protection section calculates an SWR from a detection signal of the measuring section, and obtains a first upper limit of the number of power amplifiers which can be put into an ON state based on the SWR and generates a first control signal. Abstract: According to one embodiment, a digital amplitude modulator includes a power supply unit, a measurement unit, a calculation unit, and a power controller. The power supply unit supplies a power supply voltage to a plurality of power amplifiers. The measurement unit measures the output power and reflection coefficient of a synthesizer. The calculation unit calculates loss power occurring in each power amplifier in an ON state, and reflected power consumed by each power amplifier in the ON state.
