摘要: A brake system, for a vehicle, includes a first electric-power-supply-unit (EPSU), and an electronic-brake-control-unit (EBCU) connected to the first EPSU. Furthermore, the brake system includes a first axle-pressure-modulator (APM) for service-brake-chambers associated with a first vehicle-axle. The first APM is connected to the EBCU. The brake system includes a second APM for spring-brake-cylinders associated with a second vehicle-axle. The second APM is connected to the EBCU. The brake system further includes a second EPSU, and an electronic-parking-brake-controller (EPBC). The EPBC is connected to the second EPSU. The EPBC is fluidically connected to the spring-brake-cylinders. The brake system includes a pressure modulator unit (PMU) fluidically connected to the first APM. The PMU is connected to the EPBC, which issues a control-signal for controlling the PMU. The PMU commands pneumatic-control-pressure for the first APM depending on the control-signal from the EPBC.

摘要: A sensor arrangement for detecting an object in a surrounding of a trailer when towed by a vehicle, the sensor arrangement including: at least one sensor mountable at a rear side of the vehicle with a field of view underneath the trailer and configured to capture a detection signal from the object; and a control unit configured to receive a sensor signal from the at least one sensor, wherein the sensor signal is indicative of the object and the control unit is configured to confirm a presence of the object behind or at a side of the trailer.

The PMU is connected to the EPBC, which issues a control-signal for controlling the PMU. The PMU commands pneumatic-control-pressure for the first APM depending on the control-signal from the EPBC.

摘要: An apparatus for monitoring a vehicle camera system. The vehicle camera system includes at least one camera to capture images of a field of view at a side of the vehicle and a display unit for visualizing the captured images to a driver of the vehicle. The apparatus includes a control unit adapted to control the display unit to display a graphical indicator, the displayed graphical indicator changes sequentially in a default way to allow the driver to visually detect a malfunctioning of the vehicle camera system based on a deviation from the default way of the sequentially changing graphical indicator.

摘要: A sensor apparatus for an autonomously operated commercial vehicle to allow panoramic capture of surroundings of the commercial vehicle, including: radar units mountable in front corner areas of the vehicle; downwardly directed cameras having a fisheye objective, mountable on front upper corner areas of the vehicle; at least one rearwardly directed sensor mounted on a section of the vehicle to allow rearward image capture; and an evaluation module to evaluate image data from the radar units, the downwardly directed cameras and the at least one rearwardly directed sensor to achieve the panoramic capture of the surroundings of the vehicle; in which the radar units and the at least one rearwardly directed sensor capture all points in a surrounding area of the vehicle, and wherein the downwardly directed cameras capture all points in the surrounding area of the vehicle. Also described are a related commercial vehicle, method and computer readable medium.

摘要: A compressed air system for a motor vehicle with an air supply system, including: an electric drive motor, which can be controlled for variable speed, an air compressor coupled to be driven by the electric drive motor, an electric power supply for supplying electric power to the electric drive motor, at least one air reservoir connected with the air compressor to receive air from the air compressor, an air utilization system connected to the at least one air reservoir to receive air from the at least one air reservoir, a controller to control the speed of the electric drive motor. The controller controls the electric drive motor to determine the speed of the electric drive motor so that during filling of the air reservoir, when the pressure level in the air reservoir passes a setpoint that is between a minimum level and a higher cut off pressure level, the controller changes the compressor speed so that specific power consumption per unit mass of air compressed is decreased.
