Abstract: A data routing method includes: receiving a route distinguisher of an MME serving UE sent by the MME; determining an information transmission manner supported by the MME; receiving_a query message sent by an MTC-IWF, where the query message carries a user equipment UE identifier and an information transmission manner that needs to be used; determining according to the information transmission manner supported by the MME, the UE identifier, and the information transmission manner that needs to be used, that the MME serving the UE supports the information transmission manner that needs to be used; and sending a route distinguisher of the MME that corresponds to the information transmission manner that needs to be used to the MTC-IWF, so that the MTC-IWF performs routing according to the route distinguisher. Therefore, a most effective transmission path is selected for information transmission, thereby improving service experience of a user.

Abstract: The present invention provides a method for selecting a bearer mode, a packet gateway, and a policy and charging rule function entity, relating to the field of communications technologies, and solving the problem that a base station selects a suitable air interface transmission mode for a bearer of a mobile terminal. Indication information of an air interface transmission mode supported by a mobile terminal is received. According to the indication information and a received enhanced policy and charging control rule that is sent by a policy and charging rule function entity, an air interface transmission mode allowed to be used by a bearer bound with a service flow of the mobile terminal is determined. A session establishment reply message is sent to a serving gateway to which the mobile terminal belongs, where the session establishment reply message comprises the air interface transmission mode allowed to be used by the bearer.

Abstract: The technology of this application relates to a method for selecting a network element in a communication sensing service and a communication apparatus. In the method, a radio access network element, an access and mobility management function network element, and a sensing network element each having a sensing capability can register the sensing capability with a network repository function network element. After receiving a sensing service request, a network exposure function network element, the access and mobility management function network element, or the sensing network element selects an appropriate network element based on the sensing capability of each network element (for example, the radio access network element, the access and mobility management function network element, or the sensing network element) registered with the network repository function network element, to select the appropriate network element for a sensing service, to support the sensing service in an end-to-end manner.
