摘要: A system and method of controlling a fail-safe for a vehicle is provided. The method includes determining, by a controller, that remaining hydraulic pressure exists in the clutch when the clutch is not opened and a target value of oil pressure for opening the clutch is maintained for a predetermined time period. In addition, whether a vehicle is stopped is confirmed in response to determining that remaining hydraulic pressure exists in the engine clutch. The controller is further configured to transmit a signal to shift to the vehicle to a neutral (N) stage to a transmission controller and shift to the vehicle to the N-stage in response to determining that the vehicle is stopped. Then, the engine is driven by the controller in response to determining that the vehicle is shifted to the N-stage.

摘要: An engine clutch control system for a hybrid vehicle has a power source including an engine and a motor, an engine clutch between the engine and the motor, a traveling information detector that detects traveling information including at least one of the vehicle speed, shift gear, displacement of the accelerator pedal, and displacement of the brake pedal, and a hybrid controller that selects an EV mode or HEV mode by controlling disengagement or engagement of the engine clutch. A method of controlling the engine clutch includes determining whether there is a request for changing into the HEV mode from the EV mode; determining a reference speed from traveling inertia of the vehicle and inertia of the engine and the motor; determining a desired speed for controlling the determined reference speed; and calculating transmission torque of the engine clutch.

摘要: Disclosed is a system and method for determining when an engine of a hybrid electric vehicle has abnormally stalled. In particular, a control unit is configured to determine whether an entry condition has been satisfied before determining whether the engine stalled. Then once it is determined that the engine has stalled, the control unit increase a stall count and monitors whether the engine enters a normal operation state. If the engine enters a normal state, the control unit decreases the stall count. However, when the stall count is greater than or equal to a predetermined threshold value it is determined that the engine is out of order. Thus, it can be clearly identified when an engine has stalled abnormally and over-discharging of the battery may be avoided
