摘要: A driving control method of a hybrid vehicle is provided. The method includes acquiring link information on each of a current link in which the vehicle currently travels in an electric vehicle (EV) mode and a forward link connected to the current link ahead of the current link. A first average driving load of the current line and a second average driving load of the forward link are calculated based on the acquired link information. When the second average driving load is greater than the first average driving load a minimum required state of charge (SoC) based on the second average driving load and a preset driving mode switch reference are determined.

摘要: A driving control method of a hybrid vehicle is provided. The method includes when a specific zone related to discharge of exhaust gas is detected ahead on a path, determining whether a current state of charge (SoC) of a battery is greater than a first value. When the current SoC is greater than the first value, driving in a first mode for charging the battery in power of an engine in a first section disposed before entrance into the specific zone. Upon entering a second section corresponding to the specific zone, a current mode into a second mode for driving using power of a motor only is converted, battery consumption is reduced using at least one step along with a change in the current SoC in the second section.

摘要: A method of performing temperature control of a hybrid vehicle implements a mode change control method capable of efficiently performing heating in cold weather by predicting a stop of the hybrid vehicle. The method includes receiving an engine operation request from a full automatic temperature control (FATC) unit, determining whether to enter a first hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) mode utilizing engine power as driving force, determining whether a predicted stop time is equal to or less than a predetermined time, when entry into the first HEV mode is impossible, and disallowing entry into a second HEV mode utilizing engine power for generation of electricity, when the predicted stop time is equal to or less than the predetermined time.

摘要: A hybrid electric vehicle and a catalyst heating control method are configured to select a point in time at which catalyst heating control is performed and to perform a follow-up measure based on the selected point in time. The catalyst heating control method includes performing mode switching from a first mode in which only a drive motor is used as a driving source to a second mode in which an engine is driven in a state in which a drive shaft and the engine are disconnected from each other to start heating of a catalyst of the engine. When demand torque higher than a maximum output of the drive motor occurs before the catalyst heating is completed, the second mode is maintained until the demand torque is greater than the sum of the maximum output and a predetermined margin.
