摘要: A failure management device includes: an information collection unit configured to collect failure information which is information about a failure of devices or instruments loaded in a vehicle; a notification unit configured to output a failure notice notifying occurrence of the failure inside the vehicle; and an instruction unit configured to instruct the notification unit whether or not to output the failure notice when the failure of one of the devices or the instruments is found based on the failure information, and the instruction unit prohibits the notification unit from outputting the failure notice when the device or the instrument in which the failure is found is not involved in execution of an option function for which the execution is permitted, based on management information indicating whether or not the execution of the option function is permitted for each of the option functions in the vehicle.

摘要: A control system for a vehicle capable of traveling in first and second traveling states is provided. The second traveling state requires an operation related to traveling by a passenger more than the first traveling state. The system changes, based on a traveling situation of the vehicle, an upper limit speed at which the vehicle can travel in the first traveling state. The system performs notification to the passenger of a request for a predetermined operation at a timing when a traveling speed of the vehicle reaches a predetermined speed when switching from the first traveling state to the second traveling state. A difference between the upper limit speed and the predetermined speed is increased in a case where the upper limit speed is high compared to a case where the upper limit speed is low.

The changing unit changes, in accordance with the change in the upper limit travel speed of the travel state which is currently selected, an upper limit travel speed of a travel state which is not currently selected among the plurality of travel states.

摘要: A travel control apparatus for controlling travel of a vehicle, comprises: an acquisition unit configured to acquire external information using one of a first camera and a second camera; a specifying unit configured to specify a position of the vehicle; and a travel control unit configured to control the travel of the vehicle based on the external information acquired by the acquisition unit and the position of the vehicle specified by the specifying unit. If the acquisition unit acquires the external information using the second camera instead of the first camera, the travel control unit controls the travel of the vehicle so that participation of a driver in driving is higher than in a case in which the acquisition unit acquires the external information using the first camera.
