Abstract: A memory drive device includes a memory, and a processor coupled to the memory and configured to when receiving a specific packet according to a connection standard specified in Computer eXpress Link (CXL), store data included as a part of the specific packet in a buffer and determine whether addresses included as the part of the specific packet together with the data are consecutive, when the addresses are consecutive, generate first information in which information of the addresses that are consecutive and information of the data associated with the addresses that are consecutive are aggregated, and notify a memory device of a write request of the data to the memory device, based on the first information and the communication standard when the data stored in the buffer is written to the memory device specified by a communication standard that does not support the CXL.

Abstract: A communication device includes a modulator, a first encoder and a second encoder, and generates a modulated signal with quadrature amplitude modulation. The modulator generates a modulated signal by mapping each symbol in a data frame that includes data, a first code, and a second code to a signal point among signal points of the quadrature amplitude modulation. The first encoder encodes the data by using a first coding scheme to generate the first code. The second encoder encodes, by using a second coding scheme, a bit string formed from a specified bit in a plurality of bits allocated to each symbol in the data frame to generate the second code. The modulator performs mapping such that each pair of adjacent signal points are different from each other in terms of a value of the specified bit in the plurality of bits.

Abstract: Monitoring device is used in optical transmission system that transmits frames between first and second nodes via optical transmission line. First SOP data representing SOP detected in the first node and second SOP data representing SOP detected in the second node are stored in storage. Processor detects first time at which polarization fluctuation component caused by polarization fluctuation arrives at the monitoring device and generates reference data by extracting the first SOP data near the first time. The processor detects second time at which polarization fluctuation component caused by the polarization fluctuation arrives at the second node by searching for a section having SOP similar to the SOP represented by the reference data in the second SOP data. The processor determines a position where the polarization fluctuation occurs based on the first time and the second time.

Abstract: A transmission device transmits signals between a server and an opposing device.
