摘要: Methods and systems are provided. One example method includes providing a connection to the Internet for a vehicle via wireless connection circuitry associated with an on-board computer of the vehicle. The connection is used to communicate with a service, and a user account is assigned to a user and the user account is associated with settings of the user. The method includes providing communication, by the on-board computer, with a mobile device. The communication provides for pairing the mobile device with the on-board computer using credentials associated with the user account of the user. The method includes accessing, using the on-board computer, data from a mobile device application of the mobile device for rendering content to a display screen of the vehicle. At least some data accessed from the mobile device application is used to render said content to the display screen of the vehicle. The content of the mobile device application rendered on the display screen of the vehicle is in addition to content rendered on the display screen of the vehicle for a native application of the vehicle.

The method further includes receiving from time to time, at the server, vehicle condition. The method includes identifying a user account for the vehicle. The user account includes preferences associated with a profile of a user. The method also includes sending data to the vehicle. The data is for presentation on a display screen or output via an audio system of the vehicle. The data is selected based on a context of the geo-location and the vehicle condition or the preferences associated with the profile of the user. Interaction modes can be used to define what information is displayed and when information is provided to the display screen.

摘要: Methods and systems are provided. One system is of a vehicle for processing communication with connected objects. The processing by the system uses a processor of the vehicle and processing and data from one or more servers of a cloud system. The connected objects include objects having communication capabilities that are either fixed at specific locations as infrastructure proximate to where the vehicle is located or locations proximate to where the vehicle is moving. The system includes a global positioning system of the vehicle for generating geo-location for the vehicle and a heading direction. The geo-location is configured to be shared with a server of the cloud system using a communications device of the vehicle. The server of the cloud system is configured to receive the geo-location of the vehicle to identify the heading direction of the vehicle. The communications device of the vehicle is configured receive state data from at least one of said connected objects that are proximate in location relative to the vehicle or are along the heading direction of the vehicle. The processor is one of a plurality of processors of on-board electronics, and the processor is configured to execute instructions that processes data associated with of said heading direction of the vehicle and updates in state data received from connected objects. The processing is configured to cause initiation of an action by a subsystem of the vehicle. In one example, the action by the subsystem of the vehicle is to produce a safety warning notification presented on a display of the vehicle or an automatic action by the vehicle for safety.

摘要: Methods and systems are provided. One method includes processing operations to share electronic keys (e-keys). The method includes receiving a request to share an electronic key (e-key) of a vehicle with a recipient device. The request to share the e-key is initiated by sending a message to the recipient device using a sharing device. The method includes processing the request to validate the request to share the e-key, as received from the sharing device having associated therewith a registered owner e-key. Processing the request includes generating the e-key securely by the sharing device and registering the e-key that was generated with a server associated with a manufacturer of the vehicle. The method includes enabling the e-key for use on the vehicle by the recipient device responsive to said processing of the request. The request to share the e-key includes enabling a setting to apply a privilege level for use of the vehicle via the e-key. The privilege level provides one or more conditions of use of the vehicle via the e-key.

摘要: A computer implemented method for managing charge availability of a charge unit (CU) to obtain charge for a battery of an electric vehicle (EV) is provided. The CU includes a computer for processing at least part of the method and for communicating with a server over a network. The method includes receiving, by the server, status information from the computer of the CU. The method includes sending to the computer of the CU instructions to make a reservation for the CU. The reservation is for a user account that has requested a desire to charge the battery of the electric vehicle of the user at the CU or another CU. The method includes sending, by the server, a confirmation for the reservation to the user account. The confirmation is viewable via a device having access to the server via the user account. The method includes sending, by the server, a data regarding a time of availability of the CU to the user account for the reservation. The computer of the CU is configured to display a visual indicator regarding the reservation of the CU.

One example method includes processing captured voice data from the human driver over a period of time while the human driver operates the vehicle. The method includes analyzing the voice data to assist in prediction of the emotion of the human driver. The method includes generating the vehicle response. The vehicle response is selected in part based on the emotion that was predicted for the human driver.

摘要: Systems and methods of a vehicle for sharing vehicle controls are provided. One example system is for sharing vehicle system control of the vehicle with a passenger. The system uses an on-board computer and communications circuitry of the vehicle. The communications circuitry is configured to use a wireless network for accessing the internet and the on-board computer is configured to enable the communications circuitry to provide a wireless connection to a portable device of the passenger of the vehicle. The on-board computer has access to one or more vehicle systems of the vehicle, and via the wireless connection, the on-board computer provides the portable device access to at least one graphical user interface, the graphical user interface includes input options that enable control of settings or functions of one or more of said vehicle systems. The on-board computer is configured to process information associated with a wireless signal of the portable device. The processing of the information is used to identify a location of the portable device inside the vehicle. The location of the portable device is utilized to identify a passenger seat of the vehicle and enable said control of settings or functions that pertain to an environment proximate to the passenger seat that was identified.

摘要: Methods and systems are disclosed for vehicles configured for performing a self-parking operation without a human operator. The vehicle includes an on-board computer for receiving a wireless signal from a portable device. The wireless signal is configured to instruct the on-board computer to perform the self-parking operation. The on-board computer of the vehicle is configured for processing instructions to communicate with sensors of the vehicle, and the sensors are located along a front and a rear of the vehicle, and the sensors along the front and the rear include a combination of one or more cameras and ultrasonic sensors. The on-board computer is configured for receiving data from the combination of said one or more cameras and said ultrasonic sensors. The on-board computer is configured for determining that a space in front of said vehicle is clear to enable movement of the vehicle using said data from the combination of said camera and said ultrasonic sensors from said front of the vehicle. The on-board computer enabling the vehicle for movement forward toward a parking space, and while said vehicle is moving, continuing to determine that the space in front of said vehicle remains clear as the vehicle continues to move toward the parking space and stopping said movement while the space is determined to not be clear by way of a detected obstacle along a path of said movement. The on-board computer stops said vehicle upon detecting that the vehicle has arrived at a destination location for parking of said vehicle.

摘要: A cloud system is configured to execute method operations for communicating with connected vehicles of users having user accounts with the cloud system. One example method includes receiving a signal from of an electric vehicle that is associated to a user account. The signal of the electric vehicle is received in response to the electric vehicle parking over a charging pad of a charging unit, and the charging unit is one of a plurality of charging units located in various geo-locations. The method includes sending instructions to the charging unit to enable initiation of charge transfer to a battery of the electric vehicle upon the cloud system confirming that the user account for the electric vehicle is enabled for automatic charging upon parking over said charging pad of the charging unit. The method includes receiving data from the charging unit indicative of a discontinuing of the charge transfer by the charging pad responsive to detecting that the electric vehicle is no longer parked over said charging pad.
