The apparatus for controlling an embedded device includes a host computer connected with a monitor, a mouse, and a keyboard; an embedded device; and a connection module for connecting the host computer with the embedded device such that a first task window for controlling the host computer and a second task window for controlling the embedded device are displayed on the monitor.

There is provided a heterogeneous computing method. A heterogeneous computing method includes performing offline learning on an algorithm using compilations and runtimes of application programs, executing a first application program in a mobile device, distributing a workload to a central processing unit (CPU) and a graphic processing unit (GPU) in the first application program, using the algorithm, performing online learning to reset the workload distributed to the CPU and GPU in the first application program, and resetting the workload distributed to the CPU and GPU in the first application program, corresponding to a result of the online learning.

A communication method in a wireless local access network (WLAN) and a wireless apparatus therefor. According to the communication method, a station (STA) receives frames each of which contains upper layer service discovery protocol information from one or more access points (APs). The STA transmits an association request frame to an AP which is selected based on upper layer service discovery protocol information received from the APs. Then, the STA proceeds with an association process with the selected AP. The upper layer service discovery protocol information may be represented in a bitmap scheme whereby each of service discovery protocols contained in the upper layer service discovery protocol information is indicated as to whether it is supported by the AP; an enumeration scheme whereby identifier of each of supported service discovery protocols is included in the upper layer service discovery protocol information; or a hybrid scheme.

Disclosed herein are a Bluetooth connection device and method based on estimation of a relative angle. The Bluetooth connection method based on estimation of a relative angle is performed by a Bluetooth connection device based on estimation of a relative angle, and includes estimating relative angles using relative angle estimation information included in packets received from one or more communication target devices that are scanned for a Bluetooth connection, determining a communication target device with which a communication link is to be established based on the estimated relative angles, and establishing a communication link through a Bluetooth connection to the determined communication target device, and reestablishing the communication link to any one of additional communication target devices, relative angles of which have been estimated, depending on a change in a relative angle to the communication target device with which the communication link has been established.

An apparatus and a method for managing instant connection based on a wireless local area network are provided. The method includes: creating, by an accessed terminal, connection information required for setting connection therewith; creating, by the accessed terminal, a management frame by using the connection information; transmitting, by the accessed terminal, the created management frame to a peripheral terminal; receiving, by the peripheral terminal, the management frame and extracting connection information from the received management frame; and setting, by the peripheral terminal, connection with the accessed terminal by accessing the accessed terminal by using the extracted connection information to rapidly access a desired terminal without performing a device discovery process.

An apparatus for providing information about an available service using a proxy server and a method thereof. The apparatus includes an available service checker, a database, an available service searcher, and an available service broadcaster. The apparatus may provide information through the proxy server regarding available services of a device that is not currently connected to a basic service set (BSS), thereby preventing generation of excessive amount of traffic.

Provided are a method for providing augmented reality (AR) services, and a user terminal and an access point using the same. The user terminal according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a reception unit that receives AR-related information broadcast by at least one access point (AP), a photographing unit that photographs an image of an object to obtain the photographed image, and a comparison unit that compares the obtained image of the object with the AR-related information received from the at least one AP to identify the object.
