摘要: A metaverse application receives, from a user, a request to report abuse that occurs in a virtual experience. Responsive to receiving the request, the metaverse application captures a three-dimensional (3D) capture of the virtual experience. The metaverse application generates a two-dimensional (2D) capture from the 3D capture. The metaverse application determines a list of avatars in the 2D capture. The metaverse application mixes the additional audio with the encoded audio. The metaverse application generates a list of candidates from the list of avatars based on whether the avatars are visible to the user. The metaverse application generates graphical data for displaying an overlay on the 2D capture with the list of candidates that is user-selectable to provide a report of abuse.

摘要: Systems, methods, and non-transitory computer readable media including instructions for customizing location-based content presentation are described. Customizing location-based content presentation includes accessing a group of content display mode rules specifying a format impacting 3D presentation; accessing stored selections unique to a wearer of a wearable extended reality appliance associating content display mode rules with physical locations; receiving a first indication that the wearable extended reality appliance is at the first physical location; based on the received first indication and the accessed stored selections, displaying first location-based content at the first physical location according to the first content display mode rule; receiving a second indication that the wearable extended reality appliance is at the second physical location; and based on the received second indication and the accessed stored selections, displaying second location-based content at the second physical location according to the second content display mode rule.

摘要: A system and a method for content localization in moving vehicles may include receiving from within a moving vehicle first acceleration data captured using a first sensor included in an extended reality appliance mountable on a head of a wearer. The first acceleration data includes a first component associated with movement of the head of the wearer with respect to the vehicle and a second component associated with movement of the vehicle. The system also includes receiving from within the moving vehicle second acceleration data captured using a second sensor included in a personal input device. The personal input device may be a non-vehicle component configured to be paired with the extended reality appliance. The system may segregate the second component from the first component using the first acceleration data and the second acceleration data to thereby isolate the head acceleration with respect to the vehicle from the vehicle acceleration.

摘要: A vision testing system that allows a user to execute a set of virtual reality (VR) vision testing applications with stereoscopic and shimmering effect is disclosed. The system includes a communication device, a VR gaming unit, a wireless input remote controller and a stereoscopic VR viewing device. The controller enables the user to provide VR input signals to a VR gaming application installed in the communication device. The VR viewing device splits a display screen of the communication device into a left image portion and a right image portion and directs the image data displayed at the left image portion and at the right image portion to the left eye and to the right eye of the user respectively. The stereoscopic VR viewing device to view a set of VR games with stereoscopic and shimmering effect in perception induced by a binocular rivalry feature of the eyes of the user.

摘要: A location-based shared augmented reality (AR) experience system is configured to permit users that find themselves in the same geographic area to easily join in a shared AR experience by creating respective instances of the shared AR experience for different previously defined geographic areas. When a user indicates a request to launch a shared AR experience accessible via a messaging client, the location-based shared AR experience system obtains or receives from the user device executing the messaging client location information of the user device, determines a previously-defined AR experience area that encompasses the location of the user device, and communicates to the user device an address of an associated instance of the shared AR experience.

摘要: Information is received by one or more servers regarding a plurality of components of a virtual environment to be presented for display by a remote client device. A set of remote rendering prioritization values, indicating a degree of prioritization for rendering individual components of the plurality of components by the one or more server computing devices, is determined based on the received information. Based on the set of remote rendering prioritization values, a partial scene of the virtual environment is generated at the one or more servers by rendering a set of first components of the plurality of components. The generated partial scene of the virtual environment is transmitted to the remote client device for compositing with a set of second components of the plurality of components to be rendered by the remote client device.
