摘要: A method for determining a location of a vehicle is provided. The method includes receiving, at data processing hardware, a first set of vehicle system data from one or more vehicles. The method also includes determining, at the data processing hardware, a data model based on the first set of vehicle system data. Additionally, the method includes receiving, at the data processing hardware, a second set of vehicle system data associated with the vehicle. The vehicle being different than the one or more vehicles. The method includes determining, using the data processing hardware, a vehicle location based on the second set of vehicle system data and the data model. The method includes displaying, on a user interface of the vehicle in communication with the data processing hardware, the vehicle location.

摘要: A backing system for a vehicle-trailer unit includes an input device for providing a input used to determine a first and second requested hitch angle. The first hitch angle is disposed within a standard range of motion of the input device while the second hitch angle is disposed within a maximum range of motion, different from the standard range of motion. Movement of the input device in the standard range of motion limits the requested hitch angle to a first maximum value to prevent jack-knifing of the vehicle-trailer unit. However, movement of the input device in the maximum range of motion does not limit the actual hitch angle.

摘要: A method of maneuvering a vehicle in reverse for attachment to a trailer is disclosed. The method includes receiving one or more images from one or more cameras positioned on a back portion of the vehicle and identifying one or more trailers within the one or more images. The method also includes receiving an indication of a selected trailer from the one or more trailers. Additionally, the method includes determining a vehicle path from an initial position to a final position. The vehicle path includes maneuvers configured to direct the vehicle in a rearward direction along the vehicle path from the initial position to the final position. The method also includes executing one or more behaviors causing the vehicle to take an action to autonomously follow the vehicle path and execute the maneuvers.

The probability of collision is determined based on information received indicative of vehicle motion and the proximity of the object to the vehicle, and the field of collision probability is then communicated as a visual representation to an operator of the vehicle.

摘要: A method for determining a location of a trailer in an image includes obtaining at least one real-time image from a vehicle. The at least one real-time image is processed with a controller on the vehicle to obtain a feature patch describing at least one real-time image. A convolution is performed of the feature patch and each filter from a set of filters with the filter being based on data representative of known trailers. A location of a trailer is determined in the at least one real-time image based on the convolution between the feature patch and each filter from the set of filters.

摘要: A safety system for a vehicle providing a road departure protection feature comprises a camera, mounted to the vehicle to provide a view of a driving direction of the vehicle, and an electronic control unit connected to the camera. The electronic control unit includes instructions for analyzing the image and comparing the roadway path to the predicted vehicle path. The electronic control unit determines a vehicle roadway departure is occurring when the predicted vehicle path differs from the roadway path by a predetermined threshold, and then determines at least one corrective action to return the vehicle path to the roadway path. The safety system sends instructions to apply at least one corrective action with at least an electronic stability control system.

摘要: One aspect of the disclosure provides a method of maneuvering a vehicle in reverse for attachment to a trailer. The method includes: determining, at a computing device in communication with the neural network, a selected trailer in proximity to the vehicle; detecting at least one user input gesture performed by a user and captured in at least one image from at least one camera on the vehicle; selected a maneuver command for the vehicle based on the detected gesture; and executing the maneuver to move the vehicle from the initial position toward a final position adjacent the trailer.
