Abstract: A display panel has a displaying side and a back side opposite to the displaying side. The display panel comprises: a rectangular display region for displaying an image, the rectangular display region having four sides and four corners formed by adjacent sides respectively; and an outer region surrounding the rectangular display region, the outer region being in a shape of a rectangular frame, and the outer region having four side portions corresponding to the four sides of the rectangular display region and four corner portions each connecting two adjacent side portions respectively, the outer region being provided therein with a closed frame-shaped enclosing structure extending along the entire outer region. Each corner portion is folded along three folding lines provided at the corner portion.

Abstract: A flexible display panel and a driving method thereof, and a display device are provided. The flexible display panel includes a pixel region and a gate driving circuit region located outside the pixel region. The flexible display panel further includes a curvature adjusting unit located on two sides of the pixel region, the curvature adjusting unit includes a plurality of isosceles trapezoid units which are sequentially connected with each other through lower surfaces thereof, each isosceles trapezoid unit includes an upper surface, the lower surface, and a third waist surface and a fourth waist surface oppositely arranged between the upper surface and the lower surface, and a length of the upper surface between the third waist surface and the fourth waist surface is less than a length of the lower surface between the third waist surface and the fourth waist surface. In the case that the display panel is bent and in a bent portion of the display panel, the third waist surface of the isosceles trapezoid unit attaches to the fourth waist surface of the isosceles trapezoid unit adjacent thereto, and the upper surface of the isosceles trapezoid unit is connected with the upper surface of the isosceles trapezoid unit adjacent thereto.

Abstract: A black matrix of the display panel comprises N columns of first sub-regions and M columns of second sub-regions, the pixel electrodes comprise N columns of first pixel electrodes in one-to-one correspondence with N columns of first sub-regions and M columns of second pixel electrodes in one-to-one correspondence with M columns of second sub-regions. A width of the M columns of second sub-regions and a width of the M columns of second pixel electrodes along the row direction of the black matrix are increased only by reducing a width of the N columns of first sub-regions along the row direction of the black matrix, such that some signal lines in the divided gate driver may be placed at the M columns of second sub-regions to enable the display panel not having frames at the left and the right, without substantially not changing the aperture ratio of the display panel.
