    Abstract: A light field display method includes: generating a pixel light field information database (S1); processing, according to different depth positions of an original three-dimensional image, slice images corresponding to the different depth positions and pixel light field information at the different depth positions, to obtain recorded images of the slice images of the original three-dimensional image at the different depth positions (S2); and superimposing the recorded images of the slice images of the original three-dimensional image at the different depth positions, to obtain a microcell array image of the original three-dimensional image (S3). A light field display system has a database generator (101), a recorded image generator (102), and a superimposer (103) which implement the described functions. A non-transitory computer readable storage medium stores thereon a computer program for implementing the method. A display panel includes the non-transitory computer readable storage medium.

    Abstract: A device for optical-field displaying includes: a display screen and a lens unit provided on a light exiting side of the display screen; the lens unit includes a plurality of lenses arranged in an array; the display screen is provided on a focal plane of the plurality of lenses; the display screen includes a first substrate and a second substrate that match; the first substrate is a light-exiting-side substrate, the second substrate includes a plurality of pixel islands arranged in an array; the plurality of pixel islands correspond to the plurality of lenses; a view region formed by light rays emitted by the sub-pixels of the pixel islands and propagated via the corresponding lenses to a human eye is smaller than or equal to a half-pupil region, and light rays of different viewpoints emitted by different sub-pixels of the pixel islands enter different cone cells via the lenses.

    Abstract: The present disclosure provides a display device including a liquid crystal layer having a first surface and a second surface opposite to each other, and the second surface has a light entrance region and a light outgoing region; a reflector within the liquid crystal layer and adjacent the first surface; a light absorbing layer on the first surface of the liquid crystal layer, the light absorbing layer including a first shielding layer, a second shielding layer and a filling layer therebetween, the second shielding layer is between the first shielding layer and the liquid crystal layer and has a first opening therein, and the liquid crystal layer is configured to modulate light incident from the light entrance region into first refracted light under a first voltage; and modulate the light incident from the light entrance region into second refracted light under a second voltage different from the first voltage.

    Abstract: A display panel includes a light guide plate, a substrate, a reflector and a liquid crystal layer. A refractive index of the liquid crystal layer can vary between a minimum liquid crystal refractive index and a maximum liquid crystal refractive index. One side, facing the substrate, of the light guide plate includes a light entry region, light at least partially enters the liquid crystal layer through the light entry region and is propagated towards the reflector. The maximum liquid crystal refractive index is greater than a refractive index of the reflector, and the minimum reflective index is not greater than the refractive index of the reflector. When the refractive index of the liquid crystal layer is greater than the reflective index of the reflector, the reflector reflects at least a part of light entering the liquid crystal layer from the light entry region to the light guide plate.

    Abstract: A light collimation device, a backlight module and a display panel are provided. The light collimation device includes a lampshade and a light guiding part, wherein the lampshade includes a plurality of curved reflecting parts, a first total reflecting part and a second total reflecting part. The curved reflecting part is configured to reflect part of light from a light source arranged at a focal point of curved reflecting part to the first total reflecting part. The first total reflecting part is configured to reflect part of incident light to the second total reflecting part and directly direct another part of light to the light guiding part. The second total reflecting part is configured to reflect incident light to the light guiding part. The light guiding part is configured to cause incident light to propagate in a total reflection.
