摘要: A cooperative intelligent traffic system is provided for use between bicycles, motorcycles, and other vehicles. Sensor data from mobile devices and other sensor devices associated with the vehicle can be sent to an edge network computing device (e.g., a multi-access edge computing device) and be processed at the edge network to identify threats and hazards, and then transmit the threat assessment data to other bicycles, motorcycles, and vehicles nearby. The threat assessment data can be used by the operators of the other vehicles to warn them of upcoming threats, hazards, road conditions, and other pertinent conditions.

摘要: An integrated GW (I-GW) can be utilized to facilitate communications with Internet of things (IoT) devices that operate without Internet protocol (IP) addresses, based on assigned preferences and/or priority. In one aspect, the I-GW can efficiently deliver existing services for various types of IoT devices (e.g., that support different non-IP protocols) and can create emerging applications across different vertical applications. Further, the I-GW can leverage mobility network elements to authenticate, prioritize connections, and/or enable data orchestration via underlying software defined network (SDN)-enabled capabilities and/or infrastructure services. By utilizing IoT devices that do not have IP stacks, a cost and/or size of the IoT devices can be decreased and battery life can be significantly extended.

摘要: Power conservation for devices is facilitated based on likelihood of power usage level. An example method can comprise determining, by a first device comprising a processor, that a second device is within a defined proximity of a third device, wherein the third device is determined to be operating in a mode according to a first power consumption operation that satisfies a defined condition, and wherein the operating in the mode according to the first power consumption operation is based on the third device being located at a defined location. The method can also comprise facilitating, by the first device, modification of the mode of the third device based on a determination of a likelihood of usage of a second power consumption operation by the third device. In various embodiments, the third device is configured to operate according to the power save mode or the extended discontinuous reception mode.

摘要: In one example, the present disclosure describes a device, computer-readable medium, and method for instantiating intelligent service delivery parameters within protected hardware. For instance, in one example, a method includes instantiating within a user endpoint device an end-to-end slice of a communications network, wherein the slice is configured to carry data over the communications network subject to a predefined combination of network service metrics, transmitting user data from the user endpoint device to the communications network via the slice when the user endpoint device is able to establish a radio connection to the communications network, and storing the user data locally in the user endpoint device when the user endpoint device is unable to establish a radio connection to the communications network.

摘要: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, segmenting a file to obtain a set of segments, wherein the file can be regenerated according to a recombination of the set of segments. At least some segments are transported to a targeted group of users including a first group of users and a second group of users, via unlicensed frequency spectrum and according to a peer-to-peer file sharing process. A segmentation record identifying the set of segments is provided to the targeted group of users. A progress of a delivery of the set of segments is monitored according to the segmentation record. The progress of the delivery is analyzed to identify a deficiency in delivery of a particular segment of the set of segments. Responsive to the deficiency, the particular segment is provided to the first group of users via a licensed frequency spectrum. Other embodiments are disclosed.

摘要: Dynamic customization of an autonomous vehicle experience is presented herein. A dynamic recommendation engine can comprise a subscriber interface component, a data component, and a configuration component. The subscriber interface component can receive, from a subscriber of an autonomous vehicle service, a request specifying a route of transport by an autonomous vehicle; and based on the request, the data component can obtain, via a network slice comprising a virtual network function of the autonomous vehicle service, profile information for the subscriber and route information for the route. Further, the configuration component can determine, via the network slice based on the profile information and the route information, configuration data for the autonomous vehicle, and send, via the network slice, the configuration data directed to the autonomous vehicle to facilitate the transport by the autonomous vehicle.

摘要: The described technology is generally directed towards customizable traffic zones that work with wireless communication network, and can be configured based on various data, including traffic data. A vehicle and/or wireless communication network user device within the traffic zone facilitate monitoring of the vehicle/user device. Pricing can be based on entering and exiting the zone, dwell time in the zone, user profile data and other factors such as time of day, day of week and so forth. A customizable traffic zone can be configured and reconfigured as needed, such as to expand or contract a zone, exclude an area, and so forth. User devices can be targeted, including geo-fencing for warning users about to enter a traffic zone that charges for usage, or to provide other relevant messages.

摘要: The described technology is generally directed towards combining user identity information, corresponding to user profile data, with vehicle information, such as for use by a traffic zone management system that charges a fee for vehicle usage in a traffic zone. A user device, such as a mobile communications device, can be coupled to vehicle information such as via a transponder that is detected by roadside units, or by uploading the combined information to a wireless communications system. Based on the combination of information, different billing rates or the like can be applied to different users and vehicle types. The technology can work with various communication systems, including roadside units and wireless communication networks.

摘要: Concepts and technologies directed to an integrated telecommunications roadside unit for supporting vehicle-to-everything (“V2X”) communications are disclosed herein. Embodiments of an integrated telecommunications roadside unit can include a processor and a memory that store computer-executable instructions that configure a processor to perform operations. The operations can include intercepting a vehicle-to-vehicle communication that is provided from a first vehicle to a second vehicle. The vehicle-to-vehicle communication can be transmitted using a direct transmission mode. The operations can further include encapsulating the vehicle-to-vehicle communication in a user plane package. The operations can also include routing the user plane package to a destination network access node, where the destination network access node is outside of a direct communication range corresponding to the first vehicle and the second vehicle.

摘要: A framework of abstraction of new and existing 5G radios can enhance capabilities of new and existing micro radios and other short range radio technologies to enable intelligent service delivery, dynamic access learning capability, and network slicing over 5G access networks. Enhancing layer communication for both control and user plane can be tunneled through the hosting layer and exploit a common transport provided by the hosting layer. The tunneling through the hosting layer can also enable the enhance capabilities to access the same radio management functions and can be orchestrated by the same core function. Additionally, provisioning processes can be reduced based on the types of Internet-of-things devices being previously connected to a software-defined networking device.
