摘要: A retarder including first and second outer layers and a birefringent layer disposed between and in direct contact with the first and second outer layers is described. The birefringent layer may include a first polyester having greater than 45 mole percent naphthalate units and greater than 45 mole percent ethylene units. Each of the first and second outer layers includes a second polyester which may include 40 to 50 mole percent naphthalate units, at least 25 mole percent ethylene units, and 10 to 25 mole percent of branched or cyclic C4-C10 alkyl units. The retarder has a retardance in a range of 1 micrometer to 100 micrometers.

摘要: The present disclosure provides an article including either at least two layers each having at least one enclosed void that is defined in part by nanostructured surfaces, or a layer having at least one enclosed void that is defined by two nanostructured surfaces in contact with each other. In addition, the present disclosure provides an optical information display and an OLED device including the article. The nanostructured surface of the article is protected from damage and contamination by the presence of another layer.

摘要: A touch panel includes a touch sensor having a dielectric core layer disposed between first and second piezoelectric layers. Each piezoelectric layer comprises a poled piezoelectric polymer. The touch sensor further includes at least a first set of individually addressable electrodes disposed over the first piezoelectric layer and at least one second electrode disposed over the second piezoelectric layer. Circuitry is coupled to the first set of electrodes and the second electrode. The circuitry is configured to detect a change in an electrical signal of at least one electrode of the first set of electrodes referenced to the second electrode in response to a touch applied to the touch surface of the touch sensor.

摘要: A display film includes a transparent polymeric substrate layer and a transparent energy dissipation layer disposed on the transparent polymeric substrate layer. The transparent energy dissipation layer includes cross-linked polyurethane and a polyacrylate polymer. The transparent energy dissipation layer has a glass transition temperature of 27 degrees Celsius or less and a Tan Delta peak value of 0.5 or greater.
