Abstract:
A medical system includes: a first operation apparatus used when a first doctor operates a medical instrument; a second operation apparatus that outputs a control instruction signal for controlling a motion of the medical instrument, and is operated by a second doctor; at least one medical action information detection section that detects medical action information based on the motion of the medical instrument when the first doctor operates the medical instrument using the first operation apparatus; a storage apparatus that stores reference information set by the second doctor according to the first doctor for comparing with the medical action information detected by the medical action information detection section; a switching signal generation apparatus that is connected to the second operation apparatus, and switches an output destination of the control instruction signal based on the medical action information detected by the medical action information detection section and the reference information stored in the storage apparatus; and a medical instrument control apparatus that controls the medical instrument according to the control instruction signal of the second operation apparatus outputted from the switching signal generation apparatus.
Abstract:
The present invention aims to provide a means for effectively and conveniently treating diseases wherein corneal endothelial cells poor in proliferative capacity in vivo are damaged. The present invention provides a therapeutic agent for corneal endothelial dysfunction containing (R)-(+)-N-(1H-pyrrolo [2,3-b]pyridin-4-yl)-4-(1-aminoethyl)benzamide or a pharmacologically acceptable salt thereof (compound (Ia)) as active ingredient, an agent for promoting adhesion of corneal endothelial cells, containing compound (Ia), a culture medium for corneal endothelial cells, containing the agent for promoting adhesion, an implant for corneal endothelial keratoplasty, containing corneal endothelial cells, scaffold and compound (Ia), and a production method of a corneal endothelial preparation, including a step of cultivating corneal endothelial cells using the culture medium.
Abstract:
A method is provided for cutting excess synthetic resin 7, which projects from a resin package 6 of an electronic component, at the root connected to the package, the excess synthetic resin being produced in molding the resin package. The excess synthetic resin 7 is cut by laying a thin plate 11 on an obverse surface of the resin package 7 while allowing the excess synthetic resin to penetrate therethrough, followed by moving a cutter 13 along and relative to the obverse surface of the thin plate 13. Alternatively, the cutting is performed by laying a cutter plate and a support plate on the obverse surface of the package 7 while allowing the excess synthetic resin to penetrate through the both plates followed by performing relative movement of the cutter plate.
Abstract:
A medical treatment device includes a suturing-ligating member, a stopper, a fixing member and a suturing-ligation releasing member. The suturing-ligating member has a distal end portion, that carries out one of suturing and ligation of biological tissue by puncturing. The stopper is provided to be movable forward or backward on the suturing-ligating member, and stoppable by friction on the suturing-ligating member to maintain the biological tissue in a sutured or ligated state by the suturing-ligating member. The fixing member is provided on the distal end side of the suturing-ligating member to fix the distal end side of the suturing-ligating member to the biological tissue. The releasing member is provided on the distal end side of the suturing-ligating member to release the ligation state maintained by frictional stopping between the suturing-ligating member and the stopper by moving the suturing-ligating member to the distal end portion side with respect to the stopper.
Abstract:
A pharmaceutical composition for the prophylaxis and therapy of a disease arising from ocular fundus tissue cytopathy such as retinochoroidal disease, glaucoma, and posterior complication arising form photocoagulation, which contains, as an active ingredient, a compound of formula (I) wherein R1 represents an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms or an aryl group having 6 to 10 carbon atoms which is optionally substituted; R2 and R3 may be the same or different and each represents hydrogen or an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms or R2 and R3 may jointly form a ring having 3 to 7 carbon atoms; and R4 represents a lower alkyl group which substituted by aryl, cycloalkyl, or aromatic heterocyclic residue, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.

Abstract:
A water-absorbent resin usable as a suitable water absorbent in sanitary materials and other fields can be produced by subjecting an aqueous solution of an .alpha.,.beta.-unsaturated carboxylic acid and of an alkali metal salt thereof to polymerization with a radical polymerization initiator in a petroleum-based hydrocarbon solvent in the presence or absence of a crosslinking agent and, in this polymerization, using a saccharose-fatty acid ester as a protective colloid agent.
