An image processing apparatus includes circuitry that inputs frame image data and generates motion transition image data. The motion transition data expresses motion transition of a moving subject as moving subject images sequentially arranged side by side in a predetermined direction. The moving subject images are included in a plurality of frame image data and used to generate moving object image data expressing a moving object that moves according to the motion transition of the moving subject images. The circuitry then performs a composition process that generates moving object image-attached motion transition image data including the moving object images by composing the moving object image data and the motion transition image data.

An aim is to produce a suitable foreign protein in egg white in transgenic birds at levels equivalent to or higher than the expression levels achieved using an ovalbumin promoter or an actin promoter, and to reduce the great burden on birds by reducing the expression at sites other than the oviduct while achieving expression sufficient to predict the expression levels before the birds reach sexual maturity. Provided is a transgenic bird containing a nucleic acid base sequence in chromosome in a cell that forms the oviduct, the sequence containing: (a) an avian endoplasmic reticulum chaperone promoter; and (b) a nucleic acid base sequence encoding a suitable foreign protein, functionally linked to the promoter. Also provided is a method for producing a suitable foreign protein, including recovering the suitable foreign protein from the transgenic bird. Further provided is a method for producing a transgenic bird, including introducing a nucleic acid base sequence into a chromosome in a cell that forms the oviduct, the sequence containing: (a) an avian endoplasmic reticulum chaperone promoter; and (b) a nucleic acid base sequence encoding a suitable foreign protein, functionally linked to the promoter.

According to one embodiment, a video server includes a plurality of processing modules and a maintenance/management module. The processing modules output an activity log file to the maintenance/management module. The maintenance/management module includes a storing medium and a maintenance/management controller. The controller determines whether the storing medium has a free region for recording the activity log file in the storing medium. The controller deletes an oldest activity log file recorded in the storing medium to form a free region if the storing medium has no free region. The controller writes the activity log file in the formed free region.

The present invention provides a rubber composition for a sidewall, an insulation, or a breaker cushion, which can achieve both excellent fuel economy (low heat build-up) and high flex crack growth resistance while having processability excellent enough to eliminate the need for mastication, and also provides a pneumatic tire produced using the rubber composition. The present invention relates to a rubber composition for a sidewall, an insulation, or a breaker cushion, including: a rubber component that contains a modified natural rubber with a phosphorus content of 200 ppm or less; and carbon black and/or a white filler.

In an instantaneous voltage drop compensating device, when an instantaneous drop occurs, an electric power transformer (8) performs an inverter action so that the electric power of a side-by-side placed capacitor (7) is DC/AC-converted and fed to a load (3). At this time, a capacitor's remaining lifetime diagnosing unit (100) introduces the DC voltage value, the DC current value, and the temperature value of the side-by-side placed capacitor (7) thereinto, and uses a prestored program for computing a remaining lifetime, thereby diagnosing the remaining lifetime, for which the side-by-side placed capacitor (7) can be used under the state where a capacitor discharge time period exceeds a rated compensation time period. As a result, the remaining lifetime, for which the side-by-side placed capacitor (7) can be used, can be diagnosed under the situations where the discharge time period for the side-by-side placed capacitor (7) to discharge while outputting the rated electric power exceeds the rated compensation time period required as the time period for which an electric power compensating device has to output the rated electric power.

A polyol composition comprising a polyol (a) and resin fine particles (b) dispersed in the polyol (a), and a method for producing the polyol composition are provided, wherein the resin fine particles (b) are particles such that an arithmetic standard deviation by volume of a particle size distribution of the particles, derived from respective values in 85 divisions of a range of 0.020 to 2000 μm determined by a laser diffraction/scattering particle size distribution analyzer, is not more than 0.6. A resin fine particle-dispersed polyol composition that, even if the resin particles dispersed in the polyol have a small particle diameter, allows the production of a polyurethane resin having an excellent mechanical strength such as elongation at break, and a method for producing the same, are provided.

According to one embodiment, a video server includes an allocator. The allocator allocates resources for performing rebuilding. When processing which needs to be performed in real time is requested during the rebuilding, the allocator determines whether resources for performing the requested processing are available. When resources for performing the requested processing are available, the allocator allocates available resources to the requested processing. When resources for performing the requested processing are not available, the allocator deallocates resources allocated to the rebuilding to secure resources for performing the requested processing, and allocates the secured resources to the requested processing.

A high reliable electric double layer capacitor is provided by increasing a sealing ability and strength of given portions of collecting terminals. In an electric double layer capacitor including a capacitor proper 1a produced by a plurality of stacked cells and an aluminum laminate film covering the exterior of the capacitor proper, a pair of collecting terminals 12 and 13 are provided at opposed portions of the capacitor proper 1a. Each collecting terminal 12 or 13 includes a first bent portion 12b or 13b that is bent to extend along a side surface 1b of the capacitor proper 1a and a second bent portion 12c or 13c that is bent to extend outward from a vertically middle position of the side surface 1b of the capacitor proper 1a. The second bent portions 12c and 13c of the pair of collecting terminals 12 and 13 are arranged to constitute a common plane and covered with the aluminum laminate film in such a manner that leading end portions of the pair of collecting terminals 12 and 13 protrude to the outside from the aluminum laminate film.

An object of the invention is to provide a pharmaceutical composition that contains erythropoietin as the active ingredient and has, when administered in humans and/or animals, a hematopoietic effect that lasts for not less than seven days. The invention provides a pharmaceutical composition containing, in an amount equal to not less than 50% of the total erythropoietin, erythropoietin to which two or more water-soluble long-chain molecules are added. The invention also provides a pharmaceutical composition containing erythropoietin to which a water-soluble long-chain molecule is added, wherein the water-soluble long-chain molecule has a molecular weight of not less than 30 kDa. The invention further provides a pharmaceutical composition containing erythropoietin to which a water-soluble long-chain molecule is added, wherein the water-soluble long-chain molecule has a branched chain.
