    摘要: A problem which is addressed is the provision of a method for manufacturing a wet rubber masterbatch that will serve as raw material for vulcanized rubber which excels in fatigue resistance, ability to achieve reduced heat generation, and tensile characteristics.A wet rubber masterbatch is manufactured by means of a method comprising an operation in which a latex that has magnesium present therein in an amount which is not greater than 150 ppm is prepared; an operation in which a liquid mixture is made; and an operation in which the liquid mixture is coagulated to obtain a coagulum. The latex comprises rubber particles for which the 90 vol % particle diameter is not greater than 2 μm. The operation in which the liquid mixture is made comprises a step in which the latex and a dispersion solvent are mixed together. The operation in which the liquid mixture is made further comprises a step in which a slurry that contains filler and a latex solution obtained as a result of the step in which the latex and the dispersion solvent were mixed are mixed together. The operation in which the coagulum is obtained comprises a step in which the coagulum is separated from waste liquid. The method for manufacturing the wet rubber masterbatch satisfies Formula I, below. a/b≥65   (Formula I) (At Formula I, a indicates COD (mg/L) of waste liquid, and b indicates amount (mass %) of rubber present in the liquid mixture.)

    摘要: Provided are a rubber composition for tires that shows a balanced improvement in properties such as fuel economy, processability, heat aging resistance, abrasion resistance, wet-grip performance, performance on snow and ice, and handling stability, and a pneumatic tire formed from the rubber composition. The present invention relates to a rubber composition for tires, containing: a highly purified, modified natural rubber having a pH adjusted to 2-7; carbon black and/or a white filler; and a silane coupling agent represented by the following Formula (S1): wherein R1001 represents a monovalent group selected from —Cl, —Br, —OR1006, —O(O═)CR1006, —ON═CR1006R1007, —ON═CR1006R1007, —NR1006R1007, and —(OSiR1006R1007)h(OSiR1006R1007R1008), wherein R1006, R1007, and R1008 are the same as or different from one another and each represent a hydrogen atom or a C1-C18 monovalent hydrocarbon group, and h represents a number whose average value is 1 to 4; R1002 represents R1001, a hydrogen atom, or a C1-C18 monovalent hydrocarbon group; R1003 represents R1001, R1002, a hydrogen atom, or the group: —[O(R1009O)j]0.5— wherein R1009 represents a C1-C18 alkylene group, and j represents an integer of 1 to 4; R1004 represents a C1-C18 divalent hydrocarbon group; R1005 represents a C1-C18 monovalent hydrocarbon group; and x, y, and Z are numbers satisfying the following relationships: x+y+2z=3, 0≦x≦3, 0≦y≦2, and 0≦z≦1.
