Abstract:
A controller for vector-controlled motor of vehicle judges whether a battery needs to be warmed up in accordance with an output of a battery temperature sensor, and when the battery needs to be warmed up, in situation (i) where the vehicle is stopped, sets a q-axis current value of the motor at zero, or when a brake is released from the situation (i), sets a q-axis current at a value corresponding to a drive torque for a vehicle creep operation, and sets a d-axis current at a value for battery warm-up. When the battery needs to be warmed up in situation (ii) where the vehicle is running, the controller sets a q-axis current at a value corresponding to a drive torque of vehicle running and sets a d-axis current at a value for the battery warm-up in relation to the q-axis current value.
Abstract:
A bonded-substrate fabricating apparatus capable of reducing defective bonded substrates fabricated. A transfer robot sucks the outer edge area of the bottom surface of a substrate and spouts gas toward the bottom surface of the substrate to carry the substrate into a vacuum process chamber of a press machine while keeping the substrate horizontally. A press plate holds the substrate, which is held by the transfer robot, by suction.
Abstract:
A solid electrolyte layer or body capable of being co-fired with an insulating ceramic substrate or body to be used as a gas sensor laminate. The gas sensor laminate is preferably composed of an alumina substrate (1) and an oxygen-ion conductive solid electrolyte layer (6) bonded to the alumina substrate (1) by firing. The oxygen-ion conductive solid electrolyte layer or body is formed from partially or wholly stabilized zirconia, which layer contains alumina in an amount of 10% to 80% by weight, particularly 30% to 75% by weight. In this manner, another ceramic layer; particularly, a ceramic layer (7) of alumina can further be bonded to the oxygen-ion conductive solid electrolyte layer. The relative density of the ceramic layer can be 60% to 99.5%, preferably 80% to 99.5%.

Abstract:
A vehicle driving control device includes a body detection mechanism for detecting a body existing forward of a driver's own vehicle, a driver's own vehicle speed detection mechanism for detecting velocity of the driver's own vehicle, a steering control mechanism for controlling steering angle of steered wheels on the basis of operation of a steering wheel, a body-size detection mechanism for detecting size of the body, and a control-characteristics change mechanism for changing control characteristics of the steering control mechanism on the basis of position information on the body detected by the body detection mechanism, the size information on the body, and the velocity information on the driver's own vehicle. When the driver tries to avoid collision by handle operation, it becomes possible to avoid a collision in a direction in which the driver has turned the handle, and also prevents over-operation from occurring.
Abstract:
In a vehicle steering transmission device, a first gear is rotatable on a rotational axis to rotate in accordance with a vehicle steering operation, a second gear is rotatable on the rotational axis and connectable to a vehicle wheel so that an orientation of the vehicle wheel is changed, an intermediate gear engages with the first and second gears, a support member is rotatable on the rotational axis while supporting the intermediate gear in such a manner that the intermediate gear is rotatable on another rotational axis which another rotational axis intersects the rotational axis and extends perpendicularly to the rotational axis, and a driving device drives the support member to rotate on the rotational axis so that a differential rotational motion is generated between the first and second gears.
Abstract:
Pedal device 10 has a pedal member 11 depressed by the driver, and arm member 12 engaged with the pedal member, for turning when the pedal member is depressed, and transmitting driver's force-on-pedal to the brake master cylinder. When the driver's force-on-pedal which acts on pedal member 11 is less than the fixed value, footrest means 13 restricts the turning of the arm member. Pedal member 11 is composed of footplate 11a to be depressed by the driver, and protruding portion 11b engaged with the footplate, on which driver's heel can be put.
Abstract:
An on-vehicle emergency report apparatus, an emergency communication apparatus and an emergency report system are disclosed. The emergency report apparatus includes an emergency situation prediction unit for predicting the possibility of a vehicle involved encountering an emergency situation, a report control unit and a communication unit. The communication is established based upon the determination of the emergency situation prediction unit, which predicts the possibility of the vehicle encountering an emergency situation a predetermined time later, based on at least one of the feature quantities including the distance between the vehicle involved and the vehicle running immediately ahead, the relative speed, the relative acceleration, the speed of the vehicle involved, the brake pedal stroke, the steering wheel angle and the expression of the driver.
Abstract:
The footrest force of the footrest function attached to a vehicle braking pedal is adjusted by a driver's-lad estimation device for deciding a footrest force corresponding to an individual driver and correspondingly to a load computed by the load estimation device. A detection device for detecting whether the present vehicle presently corners is used to change the set speed of the vehicle in accordance with the radius of a corner.
