摘要: A composite thermal management sheet for a battery includes a silicone foam layer; and a reactive filler composition disposed within the silicone foam layer, the reactive filler composition including a first filler that decomposes to generate water upon initial exposure to heat; and a second filler different from the first filler, wherein the second filler forms a thermal barrier layer with a decomposition product of the first filler, or absorbs the water, or both.

摘要: An antenna includes a substrate and an electromagnetic, EM, radiator. The substrate includes a magnetodielectric material. The EM radiator includes an electrically conductive material disposed on an upper surface of the substrate. The EM radiator further includes a root, and a pair of forks that are contiguous with and extend from the root along a first axis. The pair of forks are separated from one another by a slot in the electrically conductive material of the EM radiator to define a fork-shaped EM radiator. The root includes a bridge portion extending between the pair of forks in a direction of a second axis perpendicular to the first axis to electrically connect together the pair of forks.

摘要: A photocurable composition for stereolithographic three-dimensional printing, wherein the photocurable composition comprises a photoreactive oligomer component comprising a hydrophobic oligomer comprising a photoreactive end group, a photoreactive monomer component comprising a photoreactive monomer having a photoreactive end group, and a photoinitiation composition comprising a photoinitiator; the photocurable composition has a viscosity of 250 to 10,000 centipoise at 22° C., determined using a Brookfield viscometer; and the photocured composition has a dielectric loss of less than 0.010, preferably less than 0.008, more preferably less than 0.006, most preferably less than 0.004, each determined by split-post dielectric resonator testing at 10 gigahertz at 23° C.

摘要: A sensor apparatus includes a first of a plurality of layers having a top layer, a bottom layer, and at least one intermediate layer having an electrical conductor layer, each of the top layer, the bottom layer, and the at least one intermediate layer is disposed in direct contact with a respective adjacent layer. A second of the plurality of layers is disposed in direct contact with the first plurality of layers such that the bottom layer of the second plurality of layers is disposed in direct contact with the top layer of the first plurality of layers. The first and second plurality of layers are productive of a piezoelectric voltage absent of an external current producing device and in response to being deformed, and are productive of a change in capacitance in response to being deformed.

摘要: In an aspect, a multiphase ferrite comprises a Co2W phase that is optionally doped with Ru; a CFO phase having the formula Mer“Co1−rFe2+zO4, wherein Me” is at least one of Ni, Zn, or Mg, r is 0 to 0.5, and z is −0.5 to 6 0.5; and a CoRu-BaM phase having the formula BaCox+yRuyFe12−(2/3)x−2yO19, wherein x is 0 to 2, y is 0.01 to 2; and the Ba can be partially replaced by at least one of Sr or Ca. In another aspect, a composite can comprise a polymer and the multiphase ferrite. In yet another aspect, a method of making a multiphase ferrite can comprise mixing and grinding a CoRu-BaM phase ferrite and a CFO phase ferrite to form a mixture; and sintering the mixture in an oxygen atmosphere to form the multiphase ferrite.

摘要: A very thin filled silicone foam layer is formed from a composition that includes a curable polysiloxane composition including an alkenyl-substituted polyorganosiloxane, a hydride-substituted polyorganosiloxane, and a cure catalyst; a plurality of expanded polymer microspheres having a largest dimension of less than the thickness of the foam; and a filler composition, wherein each component of the filler composition has a largest dimension of less than the thickness of the foam, the filler composition comprising a particulate ceramic filler, a particulate calcium carbonate filler, or a particulate aluminosilicate clay filler having a plate morphology, or a particulate aluminosilicate clay filler having a hollow tubular morphology, a particulate polymeric silsesquioxane filler, or a particulate methyl-phenyl MQ filler, or a plurality of glass microspheres, or a particulate paraffin wax, or a combination thereof; wherein the curable filled composition has a viscosity of less than 400,000 centiStokes, or 100,000 to 350,000 centiStokes.

摘要: A method of making a dielectric, Dk, electromagnetic, EM, structure, includes: providing a first mold portion comprising substantially identical ones of a first plurality of recesses arranged in an array; filling the first plurality of recesses with a curable first Dk composition having a first average dielectric constant greater than that of air after full cure; placing a substrate on top of and across multiple ones of the first plurality of recesses filled with the first Dk composition, and at least partially curing the curable first Dk composition; and, removing the substrate with the at least partially cured first Dk composition from the first mold portion, resulting in an assembly having the substrate and a plurality of Dk forms including the at least partially cured first Dk composition, each of the plurality of Dk forms having a three dimensional, 3D, shape defined by corresponding ones of the first plurality of recesses.
