摘要: A compact system for optimizing energy harvesting efficiency using of very thin (less than 10 μm thickness) PVDF films. The system is comprised of a flexible substrate such as polypropylene (PP) or Polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) that supports PVDF thin films sandwiched between two aluminum electrode sheets. The PVDF films may be fabricated at different selected thicknesses by increasing spin rates. The PVDF films may also be fabricated in various different stacking arrangements in order to further allow the electrode to more efficiently produce energy.

The present invention pertains to: a polymer piezoelectric film element characterized in that an electrode sheet is formed on both surfaces of a polymer piezoelectric film, and by having a structure which has bumps and dips or a wave-shaped structure which has peaks and valleys in an axis perpendicular to said surfaces; and a power storage device, a sensor, or a vital sensor.

A piezoelectric body film comprising a fluororesin as a piezoelectric material, the fluororesin containing, as a main constituent unit, a repeating unit derived from vinylidene fluoride, a piezoelectric constant d31 of the piezoelectric body film being 20 pC/N or greater, and an extrapolated onset temperature at start of shrinkage determined by TMA measurement being not lower than 90° C. and not higher than 115° C. The difference between piezoelectric constants d31 measured before and after heating the piezoelectric body film at 100° C. for 24 hours relative to the piezoelectric constant d31 before the heating for 24 hours is 20% or less.

摘要: A mechanically and piezoelectrically anisotropic polymer article is formed from a crystallizable fluoropolymer and a nucleating agent. The polymer article may be a thin film or a fiber, for example. A crystalline phase may constitute at least approximately 50% of the polymer article. In certain examples, a fluoropolymer may include vinylidene fluoride, trifluoroethylene, chlorotrifluoroethylene, hexafluoropropylene, and vinyl fluoride. The polymer article may include up to approximately 10 wt. % of the nucleating agent. Such a polymer article is optically transparent, has an elastic modulus of at least approximately 3 GPa, and an electromechanical coupling factor (k31) of at least approximately 0.15.

The object is solved by laminating a plurality of layers of piezoelectric films polarized in a thickness direction, in which a piezoelectric layer is interposed between two thin film electrodes, and causing polarization directions of the adjacent piezoelectric films to be opposite to each other.
