摘要: The invention provides a combination of a micro pump 27 or a micro valve with a vibrating mesh nebuliser 2. This is powered by a controller 3. The controller 3 may have modifications to provide the electrical drive mechanism for the pump 27 in addition to fulfilling the aerosol/nebuliser drive requirements. In one case the system is used for humidifying gas in a ventilator circuit. A humidifying agent (sterile water or sterile saline) is aerosolised and then delivered to a ventilator circuit 100 coupled to the respiratory system of a patient.

The monitoring hub has qualified personnel who are enrolled in the REMS program as a prescriber designee for the clinician. The prescriber designee works with the clinician, pharmacy, or laboratory to ensure compliance with the REMS requirements. In addition to providing administrative support for REMS compliance, the service could be an integrated care management system that assists patients/families and providers with other aspects of their care and practice needs.

摘要: A three-dimensional image simulation device for managing a live event comprising an image capturing device for capturing live captured data corresponding to a presenter and generating, in real-time, hologram data based on the live captured data. An output interface for broadcasting the hologram data in real-time to at least one additional location containing an audience, wherein the hologram data is used to create a hologram of the presenter at the at least one additional location based on an apparent parallax effect in a simulated three-dimensional display device, the hologram creating a three-dimensional illusion for the audience regarding actual presence of the presenter at the at least one additional location. Furthermore, an input interface for receiving audience data from the at least one additional location regarding interaction between the hologram and the audience and a display device for displaying images based on audience data to the presenter.

摘要: A projection apparatus is provided which is portable and scalable in size, and comprises a first projection device to direct a first program material towards a planar viewing film which is at least partially transparent and at least partially reflective, and which is mounted at an angle with respect to the viewing plane of a viewer, so as to create a virtual image. A rear screen is arranged in the viewing plane, behind the viewing film so as to exhibit second program material from a second projection device. The first program material and the second program material are edited and synchronized one with the other so that the virtual image is interrelated with the second program material on the rear screen, and provide an enhanced simulated 3D viewing.

摘要: An aerosol generator is positioned adjacent to a patient as an attachment to a trocar. The trocar has an entry port for insufflation gas. Aerosol generated by a vibrating element is entrained in the insufflation gas and the mixture is delivered through the trocar. The aerosol may contain a medicament. The trocar may be a conventional trocar. Such trocars are typically used for a camera. The delivery of the aerosolized medicament can occur at the start of the procedure and be delivered in bolus. At the start of the procedure, the peritoneum is being inflated by means of the flow of insufflator gas. This gas flow will help to entrain the aerosolized medicament to the pneumoperitoneum regions. The surgeon can temporarily remove the camera from the trocar port to facilitate insertion and positioning of the aerosolizing unit.

The aerosol generator 2 comprises a vibratable member 40 having a plurality of apertures extending between a first surface and a second surface. A controller 3 controls the operation of aerosol generator 2, for example in response to the flow of air in the inspiration line 101 as detected by a sensor 11.
