    摘要: A luminaire comprising a heat spreader and a heat sink disposed around and thermally communicates with the heat spreader. The heat sink forms a trim plate configured to be disposed completely external of a can light fixture or an electrical junction box. The luminaire also includes an optic securely retained relative to one of the heat spreader and the heat sink on one side of a plane defined by a lower surface of the trim plate and extends to the other side of the plane defined by the lower surface of the trim plate, as well as a light source disposed on the heat spreader and comprising a plurality of light-emitting diodes (LEDs). The plurality of LEDs are positioned entirely on one side of the plane defined by the lower surface of the trim plate. The light source is in thermal communication with the heat spreader.

The wavelength converting bandage includes a plurality of quantum dots, each quantum dot individually sized to emit light within a wavelength range of 613 nm to 846 nm, defined as converted light. The wavelength converting bandage includes at least a portion of the substrate constructed to adhere to skin. The substrate may receive ambient light from the environment on the external surface and may emit converted light toward the skin.

    摘要: A lighting apparatus comprising a plurality of luminaires, each luminaire comprising a controller configured to operate the luminaire and positioned in communication with a computerized device. Each luminaire may be selectively operable to emit source light characterized by a dominant source light wavelength within a range from 390 nanometers to 750 nanometers. Additionally, at least two of the plurality of luminaires may be operable to emit source lights with different dominant source light wavelengths, and such that one or more source lights emitted by the plurality of luminaires may combine to form a combined light at a distance from the plurality of luminaires defined as a combining distance. Furthermore, the dominant source light wavelength of at least some of the luminaires of the plurality of luminaires may be variable with time.

    摘要: A lighting device has a base, an optic defining an optical chamber, a driver circuit positioned in electrical communication with the base, and a flexible circuit board positioned within the optical chamber along and generally circumscribing a longitudinal axis of the optical chamber and in electrical communication with the driver circuit. The flexible circuit board may comprise a plurality of longitudinal sections. Each longitudinal section may comprise a first inclined section, a second inclined section, and a plurality of light-emitting diodes (LEDs). The first inclined section may be positioned in the direction of the base relative to the second inclined section. The lighting device may further include a longitudinal translation device to translate longitudinally part of the flexible circuit board.
