Abstract: A PD-L1 mutant having improved binding affinity for PD-1 is disclosed. A method for preparing the PD-L1 variant and a method for screening the PD-L1 variant are also disclosed. The PD-L1 variant produced by substituting some amino acids in the sequence of wild-type PD-L1 with other optimal amino acids, achieving greatly improved affinity for PD-1. In addition, the possibility of immunogenicity can be reduced by the smallest possible number of the mutation sites.

Abstract: Provided is a surface structure having freezing-delaying performance and freezing layer-separating performance. The surface structure includes a microstructural layer formed in the form of microscale irregularities and a plurality of nanopores formed in the microstructural layer. A freezing-delaying layer is formed on a surface of the microstructural layer to delay a freezing phenomenon. Also, a hygroscopic material is accommodated in the nanopores, so that when a surface of the freezing-delaying layer starts to freeze, the hygroscopic material is discharged from the nanopores to form a hygroscopic material film, and thus adhesion between the freezing-delaying layer and ice is reduced to allow the ice to be detached from the freezing-delaying layer.

Abstract: Disclosed is a hydrogen production system using a biochar oven, the system including: a vertical pyrolysis furnace into which a pyrolysis target including at least one of waste plastic and fossil fuel is supplied in a free fall scheme by its own weight; a plate-shaped flameless heater configured to heat the vertical pyrolysis furnace such that a high-temperature atmosphere of 800 to 1300° C. is generated therein; a solid-gas separator installed under a bottom of the vertical pyrolysis furnace and configured to receive a biochar-gas mixture produced from the vertical pyrolysis furnace and to separate the biochar-gas mixture into the BOG and the biochar and to discharge the BOG and the biochar; and a BOG purification unit configured to receive therein the biochar separated using the solid-gas separator therefrom, and use the received biochar as an adsorbent, wherein the BOG separated using the solid-gas separator passes through the received biochar in the BOG purification unit such that impurities contained in the BOG are removed therefrom.
