Abstract:
A charge-balanced, continuous-write mask and wafer process changes the magneto resistive photo-definition step to a two-mask step operation. Critical images are written on one mask layer at a very small electron beam spot size, and non-critical images are written on a second mask layer at a relatively larger electron beam spot size. Both mask layers are put onto the same glass substrate where the critical mask layer is located at the most accurate position on the substrate. The non-critical images may be placed in a peripheral field. In wafer processing, the critical field is aligned and exposed onto the wafer and then the non-critical field is aligned and exposed.

A method for testing a system module assembled by integrated circuits during mass production. The integrated circuits and the assembled system modules are manufactured by the same manufacturer. The method includes the steps of apply a plurality of system level tests to the system module to determine the performance of the system module. Next, verify the performance of the integrated circuits based on the results of the system level tests. Finally, perform integrated circuit level tests, wherein the integrated circuit level tests include test items unverifiable by the system level tests. The present invention also includes a testing apparatus for testing a system module.
Abstract:
Remote control system of an electric equipment comprises a control plane and an under-control plane. The control plane comprises a micro controller. A channel switch module has a plurality of channels, and the micro controller is electrically connected to the channel switch module to select one channel of the pluralities of channels or perform a channel switch of the pluralities of channels. A first blue tooth module is electrically connected to the micro controller. A first antenna is connected to first blue tooth module to emit a blue tooth wireless communication signal of the selected channel of the micro controller. The under-control plane comprises a plurality of antennas to receive the blue tooth wireless communication signal. A plurality of second blue tooth modules are connected to the pluralities of antennas respectively. A plurality of control modules are electrically connected to the pluralities of second blue tooth modules respectively. One of the pluralities of control modules corresponding to the selected channel of the micro controller may output a signal. A power source is connected to the pluralities of control modules.
Abstract:
The present invention discloses a multi-function interface card. The multi-function interface card comprises a central processor mounted on a PCB (printed circuits board). A communication module is coupled to the central processor. An arbitrator is coupled to the central processor. An interface is coupled to the arbitrator to act as I/O for exchanging signal between the multi-function interface card and an external device. A plurality of switches are included, wherein each one of the plurality of switches is coupled to the arbitrator respectively. A plurality of controllers are included, wherein each one of the plurality of controllers is coupled to corresponding one of the plurality of switches respectively. The arbitrator is capable of recognizing a configuration access from an input signal received by the arbitrator and to determine which one switch of the plurality of switches is turned off thereby allowing the corresponding function controller to respond to the data access.
Abstract:
A plurality of noncontiguous polygonal regions of phase-shifting material have edges spaced apart less than the distance at which images of said edges would separate. The edges of the regions of phase-shifting material have differing arbitrarily selectable angular orientations (nonparallel as well as parallel) on a nonphase-shifting material. The noncontiguous phase-shifting regions may be arranged in a matrix of parallel columns and rows to facilitate fabrication and facilitate writing of the phase-shifting regions in any arbitrary pattern on an image plane. At least one of the phase-shifting regions constitutes a connective phase-shifting region with edges spaced from edges of adjacent ones of the phase-shifting regions to create a pattern with a continuous body of photoresist covering areas corresponding to the phase-shifting regions upon exposure of the mask. The phase-shifting regions may have different transmission coefficients to provide differing degrees of transparency or different degrees of phase shift to provide differing degrees of image intensity.
Abstract:
The present invention is a method of forming plugs for engaging with a socket on a substrate having pads thereon. The method including the steps of forming an insulation layer on the substrate, patterning the insulation layer to form openings for exposing the pads by a wet etching, respectively, forming conductive plugs in the openings to electrically connect with the pads, and partially removing the insulation layer.

Abstract:
Disclosed is a converter for interface card comprising a casing and a circuit board. The casing encapsulates the circuit board. The circuit board is provided with a connector at one end to be connected to a connector slot of a first interface protocol provided in a computer and a slot connector at the other end to be connected by a connector of a second interface protocol of an interface card. The circuit board is also provided with necessary wires and electronic components, to provide exchange of signals and electricity between a plurality of pins of said connector and a plurality of pins of said slot connector. The connector and the casing portion adjacent to said connector form a first size and the slot connector and the casing portion adjacent to said slot connector define a space of a second size. In one embodiment of this invention, the first size is smaller than the second size, while in another embodiment, the first size is greater than the second size.
