The main ground surface is located below the feeding end, and the extending portion extends from the main ground surface to a bottom of the first radiator and is apart from the first radiator. An extending direction of a portion of the first radiator above the extending portion is orthogonal to an extending direction of the extending portion.

摘要: An antenna apparatus and a wireless communications device, where the antenna apparatus includes a feeding part, a grounding part, and a closed frame, where the closed frame encircles a main body of the wireless communications device. The feeding part and the grounding part are electrically connected to the closed frame, and the closed frame, the feeding part, and the grounding part form a first current loop and a second current loop, where resonance is generated between the first current loop and the second current loop. There is no need to dispose a slit on the closed frame of the wireless communications device that uses a metal appearance, and a position of the feeding part of a radio frequency feeder is used, to mitigate impact, of a closed environment caused by not disposing the slit on the closed frame, on antenna radiation performance, thereby improving antenna performance and user experience.

摘要: An antenna structure includes a metal piece, a dielectric substrate, a feeding radiation element, a grounding radiation element, and a grounding metal element. The metal piece has a slot. A lower surface of the dielectric substrate is adjacent to the slot of the metal piece. The feeding radiation element is disposed on an upper surface of the dielectric substrate, and is coupled to a positive electrode of a signal source. The grounding radiation element is disposed on the upper surface of the dielectric substrate, and is coupled to a negative electrode of the signal source. The grounding radiation element is coupled through the grounding metal element to the metal piece. At least one of the feeding radiation element and the grounding radiation element has a vertical projection which at least partially overlaps the slot of the metal piece.

摘要: A multi-mode, multi-band antenna system for a handheld wireless device includes a Quadrafilar Helix Antenna (QHA) that radiates circularly polarized waves is fed by a co-axial cable. The co-axial cable is also used in combination with the QHA as a monopole antenna. Because of the distinct electromagnetic field patterns of the QHA versus the combination of the QHA and the co-axial cable operating as a monopole antenna, the cross coupling between the two modes is low. In certain embodiments the co-axial cable can itself be formed into a helix in order to reduce the physical length of the antenna system while maintaining an electrical length desired to supported certain frequency bands in the monopole mode. According to certain embodiments a post which also serves to increase the effective electric length of the co-axial cable and thereby support a lower frequency band is provided along the centerline of the QHA.
