摘要: A current detection section detects a current value of a swing shaft motor 14 and generates a first output. A first processing section obtains a contact pressure corresponding to the first output from the first output using first data indicating a correspondence relationship between a contact pressure applied to a semiconductor wafer by a top ring and the first output. A second processing section obtains a second output corresponding to a contact pressure obtained by the first processing section using second data indicating a correspondence relationship between the contact pressure obtained by the first processing section and the second output.

摘要: Implementations of the subject technology provide visualizations of non-visible features of a physical environment, at the location of the non-visible features in the physical environment. The non-visible features may include wireless communications signals, sounds, airflow, gases, subsonic and/or ultrasonic waves, hidden objects, or the like. A device may store visual contexts for visualizations of particular non-visible features. The device may obtain a depth map that allows the device to determine the location of the non-visible feature in the physical environment and to overlay the visualization on a user's view of that location. In this way, the non-visible feature can be visualized its correct location, orientation, direction and/or strength in the physical environment.

摘要: A polishing apparatus polishes a substrate by bringing the substrate into sliding contact with a polishing surface. The polishing apparatus includes: a substrate holder having a substrate holding surface for pressing the substrate against the polishing surface and further having a retaining ring arranged so as to surround the substrate and brought into contact with the polishing surface, the retaining ring being configured to be tiltable independently of the substrate holding surface; a rotating mechanism configured to rotate the substrate holder about its own axis; and at least one local load exerting mechanism configured to exert a local load on a part of the retaining ring in a direction perpendicular to the polishing surface. The at least one local load exerting mechanism is arranged so as not to rotate together with the substrate holder.

摘要: A device for electroporating cells of a mammalian mucosal membrane includes a housing, an electrode microneedle plate, a voltage return electrode coupled to the housing, and an energy source. The energy source is configured to generate and deliver through the electrode microneedle plate and the voltage return electrode at least one pulse of electrical energy having an electric potential sufficient to electroporate the cells. The electrode microneedle plate is configured to provide an even distribution of a pharmaceutical formulation from the housing and to the mucosal membrane. The electrode microneedle plate includes a plurality of microneedles that are configured to contact the mucosal membrane, deliver the pharmaceutical formulation to a specific depth, and deliver the at least one pulse of ergy to the cells.

摘要: A removable module and a housing for an attachment system of a consumer product is described. The removable module includes a locking mechanism comprising a first portion having a substantially planar top surface and second portion that comprises a substantially non-planar bottom surface. The first portion and the second portion are coupled together. The locking mechanism also includes a first spring mechanism coupled between the first portion and the second portion. The first spring mechanism causes the first portion to be biased away from the second portion. The locking mechanism also includes a second spring mechanism. The second spring mechanism causes the substantially planar top surface of the first portion to be biased substantially flush with respect to the removable module and also causes the substantially non-planar bottom surface of the second portion to be biased proud with respect to the removable module.
