    摘要: A method for updating images displayed on an electronic display of a mobile device includes determining a time interval between successive updates of an image frame. The image frame is displayed on the electronic display, and the mobile device is configured to be in a low power mode between the successive updates. The method also includes receiving one or more application updates within the time interval after a first update of the image frame, and updating the image frame after the time interval based on the one or more application updates.

The article may include a fastener that allows the article to be releasably attached to itself and/or to other objects.

    摘要: A bi-stable electronic display driving technique drives an image refresh on a bi-stable electronic display, such as an electrophoretic display, using a driving integrated circuit with a single and limited in size image buffer, in a manner that does not require a simultaneous blanking or erasing of the display and in a manner that operates to drive the pixel elements of the display to their final value associated with the new image more quickly during an image refresh cycle. This technique results in an image refresh that is of higher quality and that is more pleasing to the eye while still using a driving integrated circuit with limited memory and processing power.
