摘要: A fuel injector for gaseous fuel is provided. The fuel injector includes a valve assembly with a first valve and a second valve. The first valve is actively controlled to permit and prohibit gaseous fuel flow through the first injector. The second valve is spaced from the first valve and passively controlled to open in response to the gaseous fuel flow though the first valve, and to close when the gaseous fuel flow is terminated by closing the first valve.

A controller for a vehicle includes a processing circuit having at least one memory device coupled to at least one processor, the at least one memory device is configured to store instructions thereon that, when executed by the at least one processors, cause the at least one processor to: receive data regarding operation of an auxiliary brake system of the vehicle; determine an auxiliary brake fault condition based on the received data regarding operation of the auxiliary brake system; determine that the vehicle is on or is about to experience a negative road grade; determine a vehicle speed is greater than a requested vehicle speed for the negative road grade; and control a transmission to downshift at least two settings relative to a current transmission setting.

摘要: Systems and apparatuses include a lubrication system having an engine piston defining a gudgeon pin aperture, a piston pooling cavity extending radially outward from the gudgeon pin aperture, a piston cooling gallery, and a piston lubrication passage. The piston lubrication passage is in fluid communication with the piston cooling gallery and the piston pooling cavity. The piston further includes a pin journal received in the gudgeon pin aperture of the engine piston and defining a journal aperture in fluid communication with the piston pooling cavity and a journal pooling cavity in fluid communication with the journal aperture. A gudgeon pin is received within the gudgeon pin aperture adjacent the pin journal, which provides fluid communication between the journal pooling cavity and the gudgeon pin.

摘要: A method includes detecting a change in a loading condition on an engine based on use of an implement system including a pump driven by the engine, an actuator fluidly coupled to the pump, and an implement repositionable with the actuator. The change in the loading condition is detected based on a variation in a command signal from a joystick that controls movement of the implement, an outlet pressure of the pump, a displacement of the pump, and/or an engagement signal of a clutch positioned to selectively couple the pump to the engine. The method further includes commanding a fueling system to increase an amount of fuel provided to the engine and/or an air handling system of the machine to increase an amount of air and/or a boost pressure of the air provided to the engine in response to detection of an increasing loading condition based on the variation.

A user interface facilitates a user to provide an input to select an operating mode for the vehicle, the operating mode selected from one of selectable modes comprising: (i) manually controlled regenerative braking mode and (ii) automatically controlled regenerative braking mode. When the (i) mode is selected, the controller applies a scaling factor to the regenerative torque capability curve of the vehicle based on additional user input. When the (ii) mode is selected, the controller automatically applies the scaling factor based on one or more traction control events and environmental factors.

摘要: A method for diagnosing a NOx sensor is provided. The method includes receiving data indicative of operating conditions of an engine or an aftertreatment system; determining, during a first period of time, that an amount of NOx output from the aftertreatment system satisfies a low NOx operating mode condition; determining, during a second period of time, that operating conditions for ammonia slip are present based on data regarding operation of the aftertreatment system; responsive to the determination that operating conditions for ammonia slip are present, determining that the amount of NOx output from the aftertreatment system satisfies a high NOx operating mode condition; comparing a difference between a minimum value from the first period of time and a maximum value from a second period of time to a diagnostic threshold; and responsive to the difference being less than the diagnostic threshold, setting an alert.
