    摘要: A fluid dispense tip includes a bevel at an opening to reduce the amount of surface tension, or “land”, at the opening. The bevel is formed by grinding in a longitudinal direction such that any tooling scars resulting from the grinding operation are likewise longitudinally oriented, further reducing the amount of surface tension in the tip, thereby leading to heightened dispensing accuracy. The tip may be machined from stock as a unitary piece, to increase its lifetime, and may be formed with a bore of a relatively large diameter that is tapered down to a smaller diameter near the tip opening, to allow for delivery of fluid through the tip body at a decreased pressure. The tip may optionally be formed with a Luer™-style fitting on the body, such that the tip is compatible with pumps that utilize such a fitting.

    摘要: An apparatus for applying a thermoplastic powder to internal threads of a fastener includes a vacuum nozzle having an end adapted to engage a first surface of the fastener. A spray tube is sized to be inserted within the bore of the fastener and communicates with a source or sources of thermoplastic powder and pressurized air. A bushing is mounted on the spray tube so that the spray tube is able to slide with respect to the bushing. The bushing is adapted to engage a second surface of the fastener. The spray tube and bushing are movable between clamping positions, where the vacuum nozzle and the bushing engage the first and second surfaces of the fastener, and release positions where the vacuum nozzle and the bushing do not engage the first and second surfaces of the fastener. A fastener holder holds the fastener between the vacuum nozzle and the bushing so that when the vacuum nozzle and the bushing are in the clamping positions, the spray tube enters the bore of the fastener and sprays thermoplastic powder on the internal threads of the fastener with excess thermoplastic powder collected by the vacuum nozzle. The vacuum nozzle and bushing may be machined and to permit either, both or neither of first and second chamfers of the fasteners to also be coated.

The nozzle pipe comprises an outer tubular member and an inner tubular member coaxially disposed within the outer tubular member. The inner tubular member has a circumferential wall formed with apertures allowing air passage therethrough. The outer tubular member and the inner tubular member provides a first space therebetween to form a first air passage, while the inner tubular member provides a second space therein to form a second air passage. A plurality of rectifier fins are disposed inward from the outer tubular member, standing radially and extending longitudinally, and spaced apart circumferentially from each other. The fins extend inclined at an angle with reference to the longitudinal central axis of the tubular members.

    摘要: The invention relates to a high-pressure chamber for preferably atomizing or injecting metered amounts of fluid, such as pharmaceutical preparations. The components of the high-pressure chamber determining the strength thereof are made of a sintered metal body having plastic regions directly attached thereto. The plastic regions allow corrosion resistance and material compatibility of the interior of the high-pressure chamber and fluids placed under pressure therein. The shape of the sintered metal body provides the entire system with the rigidity required for high-pressure operation and with directly molded connection elements prescribing the type of connection to other components. The components of the high-pressure chamber determining the strength thereof are thereby deformed or crimped to each other, so that inexpensive and quick overall assembly processes are available.
