摘要: A method for making a slip resistant mat can include assembling parts with predetermined geometries to form a mold that can be used for making slip resistant mats that have channels to account for moisture between the mat and the floor. The unique geometries of the parts which form the mold can be manufactured efficiently and with reduced costs. The mold of this invention can be used to make slip resistant mats with channels that can both dissipate water and offer a high degree of mat to floor surface contact.

摘要: A method of making a transfer tray includes providing a physical mockup having a shape that corresponds to a positive shape of a patient's dental arch and a positive shape of one or more bracket analogs. A transfer tray may be formed over the physical mockup, with the transfer tray representing a negative replica of at least a portion of the mockup. One or more receptacles are accordingly formed in the ray, each receptacle approximating a least a portion of the shape of a bracket analog. A bracket associated with a bracket analog is placed into a receptacle of the one or more receptacles and a filler material is introduced into at least one receptacle.

摘要: A method of producing a heat conductive sheet without using a high-cost magnetic field generator. This is achieved by allowing a large amount of a fibrous filler to be contained in a thermosetting resin composition, so that good heat conductivity is obtained without applying a load that may interfere with the normal operation of a heat generating body and a radiator to the heat generating body and the radiator when the heat conductive sheet is disposed therebetween. The method includes: a step (A) of dispersing a fibrous filler in a binder resin to prepare a heat conductive sheet-forming composition; a step (B) of forming a molded block using the prepared heat conductive sheet-forming composition according to an extrusion molding method or a die molding method; a step (C) of slicing the formed molded block into a sheet; and a step (D) of pressing the sliced surface of the obtained sheet.

摘要: Described herein are acyl germanium photoinitiator for cost-effective and time-efficient method for producing UV-absorbing contact lenses capable of blocking ultra-violet (“UV”) radiation and optionally (but preferably) violet radiation with wavelengths from 380 nm to 440 nm, thereby protecting eyes to some extent from damages caused by UV radiation and potentially from violet radiation. This invention also provides a method for making UV-absorbing contact lenses made by using an acyl germanium photoinitiator of the invention.

摘要: A method of making an iridescent, vehicular trim assembly is provided that includes: molding a polymeric base comprising an exterior surface; and over-molding an element over at least a portion of the exterior surface. The element comprises a polymeric, translucent material and an exterior surface with an integral diffraction grating having a thickness from 250 to 1000 nm and a period from 50 nanometers to 5 microns. Further, the molding can be conducted such that the polymeric base is molded with a tint. The method can also include forming a plated region over the exterior surface of the base. In addition, the method can also include cleaning the plated region with a plasma-etching process before the over-molding.
