摘要: A battery state notification apparatus for an electric vehicle includes a collision detector, an electric leakage detector, a surrounding condition detector, a vehicle exterior sounding device, and a battery state notification device. The collision detector detects a collision of the electric vehicle. The electric leakage detector detects a state of the electric leakage from the drive battery. The surrounding condition detector detects a surrounding condition including the presence of a person around the electric vehicle. The vehicle exterior sounding device outputs a sound to the outside of the electric vehicle. The battery state notification device causes the vehicle exterior sounding device to make notification about the state of electric leakage from the drive battery in a case where the collision detector detects the collision of the electric vehicle and where the surrounding condition detector detects the presence of the person around the electric vehicle.

摘要: A circuit arrangement for current limiting and an electrical system comprising such a circuit arrangement. An output terminal of a current limiting control circuit is connected to a control input of a semiconductor switch via a limiting resistor (RB). The current limiting control circuit is configured to change an output impedance of the current limiting control circuit at the output terminal. The semiconductor switch is configured to set a current (I) in a circuit between an electrical power source and a load. An inductor (L) is configured to be connected to the electrical power source and to a terminal of the load and an input of the current limiting control circuit is connected to the inductor (L). The current limiting control circuit is configured to detect an overcurrent-related voltage drop (VL) of the inductor (L) and reduce its output impedance to increase an output impedance of the semiconductor switch.

摘要: A battery management system according to the present disclosure includes a swelling detector including at least one sensor configured to detect a swelling status of a battery cell; and a control circuit configured to generate first time-series data of the swelling status repeatedly detected during a charging procedure included in a charge/discharge cycle of the battery cell. The control circuit is configured to determine a first change amount of the swelling status in the charging procedure from the first time-series data. The control circuit is configured to determine whether the battery cell is shorted internally based on the first change amount.

摘要: An inverter system is provided such that the system includes a direct-current (DC) voltage supply, an inverter electrically coupled with the DC voltage supply, an electric machine electrically coupled with the inverter, and a controller coupled with the inverter. The inverter has a plurality of legs, each leg including two switches operating complementary to each other, an auxiliary leg having a pair of auxiliary switches, and a resistor coupled parallel to one of the auxiliary switches. A controller is coupled with the inverter and is operative to activate or deactivate the auxiliary leg of the inverter. The controller activates the auxiliary leg to discharge the capacitor or the DC bus through the resistor.

摘要: A magnetic HVIL system for a drive in a transport application includes a Hall effect sensor within at least one housing of the drive that includes terminals and a removable cover. The removable cover includes a magnet having a magnetic field that is detectable by the Hall effect sensor when the removable cover is installed on the housing. The magnetic field of the magnet is not detectable by the Hall effect sensor when the removable cover is removed from the housing. The magnet HVIL system is configured to be operable to enable active operation of the drive when the Hall effect sensor detects the magnetic field of the magnet and is in a closed circuit condition and disable operation of the drive when the Hall effect sensor does not detect the magnetic field of the magnet and is in an open circuit condition.
