Embodiments of the systems, devices and methods described herein generally facilitate performing Bluetooth pairing between a first device and a second device. In accordance with one example embodiment, a first device generates a barcode that encodes Bluetooth pairing data for transmission to the second device, wherein the pairing data comprises a Bluetooth address associated with the first device, and wherein the pairing data further comprises a personal identification number usable to complete the Bluetooth pairing, the barcode is transmitted to the second device, and Bluetooth pairing is performed with the second device.

An image forming system includes a transmitter apparatus that transmits, to a predetermined storage location of multiple storage locations, identification information identifying a user and image data associated with the identification information, and multiple image forming apparatuses. Embodiments of the disclosure disclose methods, and systems for capturing, sharing and printing annotations. The method includes receiving a physical document including hand-written annotation, the hand-written annotation is made by a user corresponding to at least a portion of the physical document. The method further includes capturing the hand-written annotation and corresponding position information of the hand-written annotation, wherein capturing further includes capturing position information of the at least portion of the physical document. Further, the method includes storing the captured hand-written annotation, position information of the hand-written annotation and position information of the at least portion of the physical document. Moreover, the method includes associating the hand-written annotation to the at least portion of the physical document. Additionally, the method includes sharing the hand-written annotation with other users.

The disclosure discloses a method and device for controlling a composite scanning device, and a composite scanning system. The composite scanning system includes: a composite scanning device and a host which includes: an application module configured for performing a first capability setting on the composite scanning device, obtaining the scanned image data from the composite scanning device after the first capability setting, and processing the scanned image data in a first TWAIN session state; and a configuration module configured for performing a second capability setting on the composite scanning device according to the processing result of the application module in the first TWAIN session state. By the disclosure, the efficiency of capability setting in the composite scanning system which is compatible with TWAIN protocol can be improved.
