    摘要: Disclosed embodiments may include a system for measuring document legibility. The system may automatically receive document image data from a user device. The system may then process the image data using optical character recognition to create language data containing a plurality of words. The system may then obtain an overall number by counting the plurality of words in the language data. The system may then identify and count the common words within the plurality of words by comparing the plurality of words to words in a database. A score may be obtained by dividing the common word number by the overall number. The score may then be compared to a legibility threshold. If the score is below the threshold, the system may determine the document is illegible. If the score is above the threshold, the system may determine the document is legible.

    摘要: A print management unit attaches an identifier to print data that goes through a custom processing unit functioning by execution of a custom class driver, and delivers the print data with the identifier attached, to a standard print control unit. The custom processing unit deletes the identifier from the print data delivered from the standard print control unit and customizes processing of causing a printer to execute printing, based on the print data. The print management unit detects a read state of the custom class driver by execution of an OS. When the read state indicates a failure in reading the custom class driver, the print management unit delivers the print data without the identifier attached, to the standard print control unit, and thus causes the printer to execute the printing that is limited via a standard communication control unit or to stop the printing.

    摘要: A sheet size determining portion determines, upon start of execution of a print job, whether or not a sheet size corresponding to raster image data to be printed in the print job matches a sheet size of a sheet conveyed in the print job. A size error detecting portion determines, in a case where the sheet size corresponding to the raster image data does not match the sheet size of the sheet, whether or not a print pixel to be printed exists in an excess region of the raster image data that is outside the sheet size of the sheet. A printing portion continues execution of the print job in a case where no print pixel exists in the excess region and stops the print job in a case where the print pixel exists in the excess region.

    摘要: An image reading device includes a reading unit, a drive section, an operation control section, an acquiring section, and a casing. The drive section moves the reading unit. The operation control section controls a drive operation by the drive section and a light emitting operation by a light emitting section. The acquiring section acquires status information indicating a state of the device. The casing constitutes an outer contour of the device. The casing has a symbol inscribed on a predetermined portion therein. The symbol corresponds to the status information item. When the acquiring section acquires the status information item, the operation control section controls the drive section to move the reading unit to a position corresponding to the portion on which the symbol corresponding to the status information item is inscribed and controls the light emitting section to emit light while the reading unit is located at the position.
