摘要： A décor paper is prepared from a dispersion having improved optical performance, wherein the dispersion contains a TiO2 particle slurry; paper pulp; and a cationic polymer. The TiO2 particle slurry has a treated TiO2 particle with a surface area of at least about 30 m2/g and a cationic polymer; the treatment is an oxide of silicon, aluminum, phosphorus or mixtures thereof; and the treatment is present in the amount of at least 15% based on the total weight of the treated titanium dioxide particle. Comparable dispersions not using the TiO2 particle slurry described would require about 10% more treated TiO2 particle than a dispersion made with the described TiO2 particle slurry, paper pulp, and cationic polymer to achieve equivalent optical performance. These décor papers are useful in preparing paper laminates.

摘要： This disclosure relates to a process for extracting a perfluoropolyether. The process involves: (a) contacting a solvent comprising a liquid or supercritical carbon dioxide with a lubricating grease comprising a thickener, an extraction aid material, and the perfluoropolyether in an extraction zone to form an extraction solution comprising an extracted perfluoropolyether; and (b) recovering the extracted perfluoropolyether from the extraction solution; wherein the recovered extracted perfluoropolyether comprises no more than about 2 wt % of the thickener.

The compositions are useful in methods for producing cooling and heating, methods for producing air conditioning, methods for replacing HCFC-22, R-410A, R-407C, HFC-134a, CFC-12, HCFC-22 and HCFC-124 and in heat transfer systems including heat pumps and air conditioners.

摘要： A composition comprising a mixture of fluoropolyether acids or salts having a number average value of about 800 to about 2500 g/mol. The amount of fluoropolyether acids or salt in the mixture having a molecular weight of not more than 500 g/mol is not more than 50 ppm by weight of the total amount of fluoropolyether acids or salts in the mixture. The amount of fluoropolyether acids or salts in the mixture having a molecular weight of 2500 g/mol or greater is not more than 40% by weight of the total amount of fluoropolyether acids or salts in the mixture. Preferably the fluoropolyether acids or salts comprise an anionic group selected from the group consisting of carboxylate, sulfonate, sulfonamide anion and phosphonate. Also disclosed is an aqueous dispersion polymerization process for fluoropolymer manufacture employing polymerization agent comprising the specified mixture of fluoropolyether acids or salts.
