摘要: A computer-implemented method for aligning a sensor to reference coordinate system includes initiating a plurality of threads, each thread executes simultaneously and independent of each other. A first thread parses data received from the sensor and stores the parsed data in a data buffer. A second thread computes an alignment transformation using the parsed data to determine alignment between the sensor and the reference coordinate system. The computing includes checking that the data buffer contains at least predetermined amount of data. If at least the predetermined amount of data exists, an intermediate result is computed using the parsed data in the data buffer; otherwise, the second thread waits for the first thread to add more data to the data buffer. The second thread outputs the intermediate result into the data buffer. A third thread outputs the alignment transformation, in response to completion of alignment computations.

The executing includes modifying the set of user inputs to generate modified inputs of a form consistent with the data input fields accepted as inputs to the select platform-specific process application and executing the select platform specific process application based on the modified inputs.

摘要: Systems are provided for logging transactions in heterogeneous networks that include a combination of one or more instrumented components and one or more non-instrumented components. The instrumented components are configured to generate impersonated log records for the non-instrumented components involved in the transaction processing hand-offs with the instrumented components. The impersonated log records are persisted with other log records that are generated by the instrumented components in a transaction log that is maintained by a central logging system to reflect a complete flow of the transaction processing performed on the object, including the flow through the non-instrumented component(s).

摘要: Techniques are provided for scheduling multiple jobs on one or more cloud computing instances, which provide the ability to select a job for execution from among a plurality of jobs, and to further select a designated instance from among a plurality of cloud computing instances for executing the selected job. The job and the designated instance are each selected based on a probability distribution that a cost of executing the job on the designated instance does not exceed the budget. The probability distribution is based on several factors including a cost of prior executions of other jobs on the designated instance and a utility function that represents a value associated with a progress of each job. By scheduling select jobs on discounted cloud computing instances, the aggregate utility of the jobs can be maximized or otherwise improved for a given budget.
