摘要: A method and device for pairing a terminal with an access point of a wireless communication network, the network including access points or executing access points, the executing access points coordinate in a centralised manner by an access point fulfilling the manager function, or managing access point. The method includes: —a message received from an executing access point including information that a terminal wishes to pair with the access point; —for each executing access point, information is obtained representing at least one time slot wherein the executing access point is authorised to establish a WPS pairing session with the new terminal, each time slot being separate from the other; —a message is sent to each executing access point including at least the information representing the at least one time slot wherein the executing access point is authorised to establish a WPS pairing session with the new terminal.

摘要: A system includes at least one data processor and memory storing instructions which, when executed by the at least one data processor, configures the at least one data processor to: provide, via a display, a visual stimulus including an animation containing at least a first object and a second object, the visual stimulus prompting for user input for authentication to a virtual domain; monitor movement of a user while providing the visual stimulus; identify, based on the monitoring, a sequence of dwell times of a characteristic of the user's movement with respect to the first object and the second object; compare the identified sequence of dwell times to a stored sequence of dwell times; and provide the comparison to enable authentication of the user in the virtual domain. Related apparatus, systems, techniques and articles are also described.

摘要: Techniques are disclosed relating to automating permission requests, e.g., in the context of multi-factor authorization. A mobile device may allow a user to automate responses to future permission requests for multi-factor authorization procedures. The mobile device may automatically respond to subsequent permission requests based on one or more automation criteria. Authorized actions may include login, transaction approval, physical access, vehicle ignition, account recovery, etc. The automation criteria may include location, acceleration, velocity, wireless connectivity, proximity to another device, temperature, lighting, noise, time, biometrics, altitude, pressure, image characteristics, etc. Disclosed techniques may increase authorization security while reducing user interaction for multi-factor authorization, in some embodiments.

摘要: A method and system for user authentication through mobility traces comprising: retrieving and processing (401, 411) data records stored in a network events database (14), the data records comprising data of one or more interactions (101) of the user with at least one network element (12) through a mobile device (11) of the user, a timestamp (T) associated with the recorded interactions, a unique identifier of the mobile device (11), a unique identifier of the user and a unique identifier of the network element (12); computing (103) at least one network interaction track, NIT, by using the retrieved data; using the at least one computed NIT (402, 412) to obtain an authentication result, e.g., based on a computed authentication probability (Pi), indicating either a success or a failure of the user authentication to be returned to a third-party service provider (21) requesting the user authentication status check (202, 302).

摘要: A terminal selectively and passively monitors for predefined wireless network discovery advertisements/requests. Requests that match what are expected by the terminal or requests that are in a predefined format are verified. The requests lack any connection pairing passcode; rather, the passcodes are separately provided from connecting devices only after the discovery requests are verified. The terminal independently authenticates the passcodes before authorizing wireless sessions between the devices and the terminal. Wireless discovery settings are continuously changed by the terminal and are valid for only a preset time window, each setting corresponds to a Time-based One Time Password (TOTP) representing a passcode; the TOTP is dependent on and valid only for the corresponding setting and the corresponding time window. In an embodiment, the connection requests are preauthorized by a server for a time window in the future, and the terminal authenticates the requests without interaction with the server.

摘要: Systems herein allow a student to share media with other students in a classroom with the permission of a teacher. The student can send a sharing request to a management server with a sender student device. The management server can identify a teacher device and send the sharing request to the teacher device for approval. When the request is granted, the student device can supply an address local to the sender device, from which the media will stream. The management server can send the address and an authentication token to other recipient student devices. The management server can further lock the recipient student devices into the sharing location to ensure that each student device will stream the media. At the request of the teacher device or the sender student device, the streaming can end.
