摘要: In some embodiments, a wearable cardioverter defibrillator (“WCD”) system may output a closing human-perceptible indication, after detecting a shockable cardiac arrhythmia, and after further determining that it will not shock. This may succeed in informing the patient that the WCD system will not deliver a shock responsive to the cardiac arrhythmia, which may have just self-terminated. The information may give comfort to the patient who may be conscious, and may recognize that his or her ventricular tachycardia has self-terminated. Moreover, the patient will know that he or she will not be unnecessarily shocked while conscious, and will not even need to press a cancel switch.

摘要: Individuals who suffer from certain kinds of medical conditions, particularly conditions that only sporadically exhibit measurable symptoms, can feel helpless in their attempts to secure access to medical care because, at least in part, they are left to the mercy of their condition to present symptoms at the right time to allow diagnosis and treatment. Providing these individuals with ambulatory extended-wear health monitors that record ECG and physiology, preferably available over-the-counter and without health insurance preauthorization, is a first step towards addressing their needs. In addition, these individuals need a way to gain entry into the health care system once a medically-actionable medical condition has been identified. Here, the ECG and physiology is downloaded and evaluated post-monitoring against medical diagnostic criteria. Medical specialists are pre-identified and paired up with key diagnostic findings, such that an individual whose monitoring data indicates a medical concern will be automatically referred and treated.

摘要: Disclosed herein is a framework for facilitating patient signal analysis based on vector analysis. In accordance with one aspect, a set of vectors is generated from a patient signal data waveform. The vectors may be directed from a common center to points of interest on the patient signal data waveform. The framework may further extract one or more vector parameters from the set of vectors, and determine one or more vector ratios based on the vector parameters to monitor changes in the patient signal data waveform.

摘要: Systems and techniques for managing biological signals. In one implementation, a method includes receiving a cardiac biological signal that includes information describing events, determining a merit of each event based on one or more of a severity of a cardiac condition associated with the event and a quality of the event, and handling a subset of the events that meet a merit criterion. The subset can be handled for medical purposes.

摘要: A biological information detection device which detects an arrhythmia on the basis of pulse wave information, performs control on measurement of an electrocardiogram on the basis of the detection result, and thereby restrains failure to record the electrocardiogram at the time of occurrence of an arrhythmia, or the like. The device includes a pulse wave information measuring unit which measures pulse wave information, an electrocardiogram measuring unit which measures an electrocardiogram, and a control unit which performs at least one of power supply control on the electrocardiogram measuring unit, storage control for electrocardiogram measurement result information measured by the electrocardiogram measuring unit, and notification control to output notification information about the measurement of the electrocardiogram using the electrocardiogram measuring unit, to a user, if it is determined that an arrhythmia is detected on the basis of detection result information obtained by analysis processing based on the pulse wave information.

摘要: The invention discloses a method, a system, a computer program and a device for determining the surface charge and/or dipole densities on heart walls. Using the foregoing, a table of dipole densities ν(P′, t) and/or a table of surface charge densities ρ(P′, t) of a given heart chamber can be generated.

摘要: It is formed, on a display, a first display region in which at least one of measurement signals related to biological information of a subject is displayed in real time. It is formed, on the display, a second display region at a position where is not overlapping with the first display region. A first history display region and a second history display region are displayed in the second display region. The first history display region displays a history related to a first one of the measurement signals, and the second history display region displaying a history related to a second one of the measurement signals.

摘要: A wearable patch-type automatic defibrillator attachable to a region of a patient near the patient's heart includes a battery which stores electrical energy for defibrillation, a controller which controls the battery, electrocardiogram (ECG) electrodes, and defibrillation electrodes. The controller analyzes ECG signals of the patient received through the ECG electrodes, and automatically provides the patient with the electrical energy stored in the battery through the defibrillation electrodes when defibrillation is needed according to a result of the analysis.
