摘要: An excavating drive (22) movable backward/forward is accommodated in a turnable body (9) which in turn is turnable about an axis perpendicular to an axis of and in a skin plate (7). A cutter device (38) ahead of a rotor (22) in the excavating drive (22) is composed of a center cutter (40) supported by the excavating drive (22) and a plurality of face plate shaped expansion cutters (44) fitted to an outer periphery of the center cutter (40) for pivotal movement backward/forward. Tunneling is effected by the expanded cutter device with the expansion cutters (44) being pivoted forward. Upon replacement of bits (35; 35′), the expansion cutters (44) are pivoted backward for contraction of an assembly of them and the cutter device (38) is accommodated in a turning trajectory (R) of the turnable body (9) so that the turnable body (9) is turned backward for replacement of the damaged bits (35; 35′) backward.

摘要: The present invention has as its object to provide an air filter not only for trapping suspended particulate substances but also for not generating hazardous contaminates in the air, which cause trouble in the manufacture of semiconductor devices. As a binder to bind fibers of the air filter together, a polymer dispersion is used in which a copolymer of a hydrophilic monomer and a hydrophobic monomer is dispersed in water. As an initiator for polymerization of the copolymer, an organic peroxide is used. When an air filter (8) is installed downstream of a chemical filter (7), the space (4) placed downstream of the air filter (8) is made substantially free of organic substances and/or inorganic substances that cause trouble in the manufacture of semiconductor devices.

摘要: A method for reconstructing corroded pipes is disclosed in which a long, new pipe can be inserted smoothly and without excessive force, into an older pipe. The method involves the insertion of a new pipe into an old pipe using a dolly to transfer the reaction force. The tail end of the new pipe is attached to the dolly, and the front end of the new pipe is sealed off. A plug is inserted into the dolly from the tail end of the new pipe, which is filled with pressurized water. The dolly is then moved in the direction of the old pipe to insert the new pipe into the old pipe.

摘要: An interior panel according to the present invention comprises a plurality of support units fixedly arranged on a floor slab, a panel member supported by the support units so as to be located over the slab surface at a predetermined distance therefrom, and a cable separator supported by the support units and dividing the space between the panel member and the slab surface into upper and lower space sections. Cables and electric devices in a signal system are arranged in the upper space section defined by the cable separator, and electric-system cables and devices in the lower space section. A bendable portion is provided at the peripheral edge portion of the cable separator so that an opening to connect the upper and lower space sections is formed by bending part of the bendable portion.
