摘要: Cementing in a subterranean formation may include, activating an extended-life cement composition by mixing at least the extended-life cement composition with a liquid activated pozzolan additive comprising a carrier fluid and an activated pozzolan, wherein the extended-life cement composition comprises water, pumice, hydrated lime, and a set retarder; introducing the extended-life cement composition into a subterranean formation; and allowing the extended-life cement composition to set to form a hardened mass in the subterranean formation.

A combination of at least one accelerator with high reactivity and at least one accelerator with low reactivity can be used in a reactive resin system. 摘要: A plurality of set stabilizer particles including: a particle core including 50 to 98 wt. %, preferably 70 to 98 wt. % or 70 to 95 wt. %, calcium sulfate dihydrate and 0.05 to 10 wt. %, preferably 0.5 to 5 wt. %, hydrophobic material selected from wax and/or siloxane, and a coating on the particle core, the coating including a dehydration-preventing substance selected from sugars, dextrins, and polyhydroxy alcohols, such as glycerol or polyglycols, at a ratio of about 5 to 25 parts by weight of dehydration-preventing substance per 100 parts by weight of calcium sulfate dihydrate. Methods of making and using the set stabilizer particles are also disclosed.

摘要: It discloses a sustained release grouting material, a preparation method and an application thereof; the sustained release grouting material comprises a water swelling core and a water-soluble sustained release coating, the water swelling core is composed of bentonite, SAP and xanthan gum, which is granulated by disc granulator relying on the cohesiveness of xanthan gum; the water-soluble sustained-release coating is prepared by mixing water-soluble starch, polyvinyl alcohol, poloxamer, lubricant and plasticizer with deionized water to obtain a film-forming solution, and the film-forming solution is coated on a coating machine; the invention uses a coating machine to coat a layer of slow-release coating on the surface of the water-absorbing expansion core, and adjusts the coating thickness by controlling the mass ratio of the coating film-forming liquid to the water-absorbing expansion core particles, so as to realize the controllable water absorption onset time of the expansion core.

摘要: A concrete composition and method include a portion of fine aggregate bearing a coating of a polymer or an admixture, which may be a continuous coating layer or a layer of powdered, discrete particles embedded in a binder. The polymeric coating may be an admixture in powdered form, a super absorbent polymer (insoluble in water, but absorbing water), or another polymer such as the acrylamides, co-polymers thereof, polyacrylamides, or the like (soluble in water). The coating absorbs water, but particles are too small to form significant voids. Water is absorbed into the concrete mix in far greater proportions (e.g. w/c ratio over 0.5) improving workability, doubling workability time, and improving ultimate compressive stress (strength).

摘要: A process for mixing concrete onsite in quantities of 1-yard or more, which makes use of the embodiment of a large industrial bag similar to those used for waste management of rubbish and an overhead rail system adapted to a dump trailer, which suspends the bag from straps attached to the bag and pined to the rail system. The four-sided system of columns and rails adapted to the trailer allows two of the four rails to be moved using winches, allowing mixing of the aggregate, cement and water without the use of metallic blades and rotating containers. The winch draws one rail attached to one side of the bag and releases and the opposing winch draws and releases the opposing rail attached to the opposing side of the bag. The bag allows the material to be placed away from the locked gates and opened for unloading concrete.
