Abstract:
A registration detection system realizes both substrate-by-substrate correction and highly accurate correction of an exposure process. Therefore, the registration detection system includes: the first detection apparatus installed on a pathway to a collection in a transport container of substrates taken out of the transport container, after passing at least an exposure process and a development process, registration-detects the substrates after passing the development process at multiple points; the second detection apparatus outside the pathway, and performing registration-detecting the substrates at more points than the first detection apparatus when the substrates after passing the first detection apparatus and collected in the transport container are taken out from the transport container again; and a generation unit (image processing parts of the aforementioned detection apparatuses) that generates compensation data for the exposure process based on detection results by the first detection apparatus and detection results by the second detection apparatus.

A resin composition comprising: (1) 100 parts by weight of an aromatic polycarbonate resin (component A); (2) 0.005 to 0.6 part by weight of a fluorine-containing organic metal salt having a fluoride ion content measured by ion chromatography of 0.2 to 20 ppm in terms of weight (component B); and (3) at least one component selected from the group consisting of a flame retardant (component C), a fatty acid ester (component D), an ultraviolet light absorber (component E), polytetrafluoroethylene having fibril formability (component F), a filler (component G), a silicate mineral (component H) and a titanium dioxide pigment (component I). A process of manufacturing the resin compositon and a method of preventing the melt dripping during combustion of the resin composition. The flame retardancy of the above aromatic polycarbonate resin composition comprising the fluorine-containing organic metal salt compound is improved.
Abstract:
A back camera image from a back camera mounted on a rear portion of a vehicle body is displayed on a display mounted on the console inside the vehicle cabin when the vehicle is parallel parking. After the vehicle passes a steering direction reversal point in this state, a corner camera image from a corner camera mounted on a corner portion of a front portion of the vehicle body is displayed on the display when the vehicle nears a vehicle parked in front, or, more specifically, when an angle of the vehicle after it has reached the steering direction reversal point has reached a predetermined value. Guidance images may be overlaid upon the camera images during some or all of the parallel parking maneuver.
Abstract:
A water-soluble fluorescent intercalator compound having the formula: F—La—X F is a fluorescent moiety, X is a divalent cyclic group, and La is a linking group, and at least one of X and La has a site imparting water solubility to the compound or a site that is convertible into a site imparting water solubility to the compound is favorably employable as a fluorescent intercalator in a method for fluorometrically detecting complementary DNA fragments.
Abstract:
A compound of the following formula: Ea—La—X—Lb—Eb in which each of Ea and Eb independently is a group having oxidation-reduction activity and having a conjugated system in its group; X is a divalent cyclic group; and each of La and Lb independently is a group which does not form a conjugated system in combination with the conjugated system of each of Ea and Eb and at least one of which has a site imparting water solubility to the compound or a site that is convertible into a site imparting water solubility to the compound, is favorably employable as an electroconductive threading intercalator in an electrochemical method for detecting complementary DNA fragments.
Abstract:
A soldering method, which secures reliable joints without using flux, is disclosed. Soldering is performed using an auxiliary connecting material capable of physically destroying and dispersing an oxide film, which is naturally grown on the surface of a main connecting material such as solder or brazing between two terminals, to realize a reliable solder wetting (a state of the main connecting material being fused and mixed). For an auxiliary connecting material, hydrocarbon such as n-tetradecane (C.sub.14 H.sub.30), for example, can be used. N-tetradecane boils between connection surfaces and cubically expands; energy generated therefrom physically disperses the oxide film and causes a fresh surface to be exposed; solders on both terminals are mixed; and an electrical and mechanical joint is securely achieved. The residue of the auxiliary connecting material is an insulating material, and therefore does not need cleaning. An excellent electrical joint which is moisture-resistant as well as highly reliable is attained.
Abstract:
A strain sensor for detecting strain in automobiles, robots, and the like includes a magnetostrictive layer. The magnetostrictive layer is formed by irradiating an alloy layer with a high energy density beam (such as a laser) to form a magnetostrictive layer having an amorphous structure. The resulting magnetostrictive layer has a magnetic inductance in the direction of irradiation that is much higher than in a perpendicular direction thereof. Using such a sensor, it is possible to selectively detect components of stresses and strains in a given direction.
