    摘要: An automatic performance apparatus stores performance technique designating data and an automatic performance data in a sequence memory, and performance technique data which varies in a lapse of time in a performance data memory to reduce the amount of sequence memory.     摘要: A tone signal synthesizer for simulating musical tones of a brass instrument faithfully. A nonlinear portion and a pipe linear portion are combined to simulate a brass instrument. The nonlinear portion has a resonance circuit having a resonance frequency in the vicinity of the frequency of a musical tone on the basis of an upper model, and a resonance circuit having a low resonance frequency on the basis of an outer model. Not only oscillation in the frequency of the musical tone is made by the former, but the instability of a brass instrument upon starting of tone generation is simulated by the latter. Further, not only a random number generation circuit gives a random number component to a flow rate signal, but a function table and a multiplier make the level of the random number component proportional to the square root of the flow rate signal.

    摘要: The present invention employs gain compensation such that when the amplifier is in the clean mode, the gain is at a selected level and when the amplifier is in the lead mode gain is decreased. In one embodiment a selectable brightness control is employed to raise the high frequency response in the clean mode. In another embodiment, a selectable gain boost control is employed to increase the gain in the lead mode. At least one frequency selectable means is provided in a post distortion stage output circuit for varying the frequency response of the output in the lead mode.

    摘要: A waveshape memory stores a full waveshape of a tone from the start to the end of sounding of the tone or a portion thereof in plural periods. A tone wave signal produced by reading this waveshape memory is applied to a tone color circuit where its tone color is changed. The tone wave signal whose tone color has been changed and the tone wave signal whose tone color has not been changed are both multiplied with respective coefficients whereby these tone wave signals are weighted. The weighted tone wave signals are added together to provide a mixed tone signal. By controlling the coefficients, the tone color imparted on the mixed signal is variously determined. The coefficients for the tone color control are provided in accordance with key scaling, key touch or operation states of control knobs. Thus tone signals exhibiting a variety of tone color changes are obtained using not so many wave memories.

    摘要: A distortion synthesizer having a transformerless filter of a defined bandwidth and providing circuitry for narrowing of the bandwidth filter as a function of the amplitude of the input signal. This includes an input amplifier having a limiter connected between the input amplifier and the band pass filter with feedback between the output of the band pass filter and the input of the amplifier. The limiter is actuated at a given input signal to limit the amplitude and thereby reduce the feedback narrowing the frequency response. A bias shifter connected to the input of the amplifier asymmetrically transmits the input signal and in combination with the limiter produces even harmonics. A feed forward embodiment is also disclosed. Diode structure provided in an output stage brings flyback into the audible range allowing the flyback voltages to exceed the power supply voltages. The time constant of the bias shifter is sufficiently long to prolong the bias shifting to allow attack time for the note.

Circuit arrangements are also provided for combining the musical tones produced by a plurality of such circuits.
