摘要: The invention relates to a system, a light unit, a sensor device and a method for disinfection applications. The system (100) comprises a) a light unit (110) comprising i) a light source (111), e.g. LED, adapted to emit at least disinfectant light (115), and ii) a controller (112) for controlling the light source such that at least a part of the light is encoded with information on light characteristics of the disinfectant light, and b) a sensor device (120) comprising i) a detection surface (121) adapted to be arranged on an object (130) and to detect the encoded light, and ii) a disinfection status deriving unit (122) adapted to derive a disinfection status of the object based on the light characteristics encoded in the encoded light. This allows for providing a good estimate of a disinfection status of an object treated with the disinfection light.

摘要: Embodiments of the invention include a self-sanitizing structure and method of forming the same, where the self-sanitizing structure includes a body having a contact surface that can be contacted by a person, along with an energy source formed as an array of addressable energy sources. The energy source generates electromagnetic radiation and directs the electromagnetic radiation through the body to the contact surface. The body scatters the electromagnetic radiation and passes it through the body to the contact surface in a manner that maintains the scattered electromagnetic radiation that reaches the contact surface as sanitizing electromagnetic radiation at or above a minimum irradiance level that neutralizes infectious agents. A sensor system generates touch data in response to the contact surface being touched, and a controller uses the touch data to control the addressable energy sources.

摘要: Devices, methods, and systems for disinfection with light are disclosed. In some examples, a lighting source is operable to provide light at wavelength range of about 380 nm - 420 nm with an irradiance and/or dosage sufficient for disinfection. One or more sensors and a control system may be used to control operation of the lighting source, such as by adjusting the lighting source in response to various inputs.

摘要: An example luminaire includes a white light source (e.g. LEDs emitting white light in a region of the CIE color chart within three Macadam ellipses below the black body curve) and a violet light source emitting light in a wavelength range of approximately 380 nm to 450 nm (e.g. 405 nm LEDs) for deactivating bacteria, such as Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus Aureus (MRSA) on a surface exposed to illumination from the luminaire. A controller coupled to the sources pulses the violet light source at periodic intervals or at random times. When ON, the violet source emits light for deactivating bacteria at an intensity higher than the concurrent intensity of the white light.

摘要: Control systems for disinfecting light systems and methods of regulating disinfecting energy generated by disinfecting systems are disclosed. The control system may include a first sensor and a second sensor positioned within a space illuminated by the disinfecting light system. The first sensor may measure an amount of disinfecting energy provided to the space by the disinfecting light system, and the second sensor may detect an environmental characteristic of the space. Additionally, the control system may include a controller operably coupled to the first and second sensor. The controller may regulate the disinfecting energy generated by the disinfecting light system by adjusting the amount of disinfecting energy provided to the space by the disinfecting light system in response to the amount of disinfecting energy provided to the space by the disinfecting light system measured by the first sensor, and/or the environmental characteristic detected by the second sensor.
