Abstract:
The invention relates to a program-controlled laboratory machine and to a method for the automatic program-controlled treatment of laboratory samples. The laboratory machine has a display having a first display area, via which program parameters that are required by the user are input, and has a second display area in which these input program parameters are shown. The performance of the treatment is effected automatically using the program parameters that are required by the user.
Abstract:
Cuvette, comprising at least one measuring area on each one of two arms that are pivotally connected to each other such that from a swung-apart condition, they can be swung together into a measuring position in which the two measuring areas have a distance for positioning a sample between the measuring areas, and means for positioning the two arms in a measuring position in a cuvette shaft of an optical measuring device with a sample between the two measuring areas in a beam path of the optical measuring device that crosses the cuvette shaft.
Abstract:
A culture flask comprising a culture chamber in a flask body comprising an even bottom wall with a growth surface on the top side, an even cover wall at a section from the bottom wall, and side walls that bridge the distance between the margins of the bottom wall and cover wall, an opening that is in adjacent regions of a side wall and the even cover wall at a distance from the bottom wall, and a hollow cylindrical flask neck that is connected to the margin of the opening and is aligned at a sharp angle to the growth surface so that the serological pipette, a scraper, a cannula or another elongated device for adding or removing material can be placed on the rear corners of the growth surface from the outside through the flask neck.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a laboratory apparatus, and a method, for device-controlled handling of at least one laboratory sample, wherein the laboratory apparatus comprises at least one handling device, wherein the handling is controlled by the laboratory apparatus in use of several program parameters, a control device, a user interface device for manually inputting data by an user, and for the display of information, which may in particular depend on these data, wherein the user interface device comprises a display, on which a display area can be represented, and wherein the user interface device comprises a movement detecting sensor device, which is arranged for the detection of at least one user movement, which can be performed on the display area by an user, and wherein the control device is arranged for the provision of a movement detecting input mode, in order to • select the at least one program parameter and/or define its value depending on the at least one user movement, and • display at least one graphical sketch element, which represents the at least one user movement, in the display area, depending on the at least one user movement.
Abstract:
A method for dosing a liquid using a pipette with adjustable dosing step size and an indicating equipment and a syringe that can be operated using the pipette. The syringe is detachably connected to the pipette. The dosing step size is set, or the dosing step size set before is maintained. The dosing volume adjusted via the dosing step size is indicated. Liquid is aspirated into the syringe. Dosing steps are performed, counted and the number of performed dosing steps and/or the number of dosing steps still possible without refilling the syringe is determined and indicated. After performing the maximum number of dosing steps possible without refilling the syringe, either the syringe is detached, or the steps are performed again. The overall performed number of dosing steps with the set dosing step size is counted, and/or the number of dosing steps still possible without refilling is determined and indicated.
Abstract:
A single-use bioreactor, suitable in particular for use in a parallel bioreactor system for applications in cell culture and/or microbiology, a head plate for such a single-use bioreactor and a process for manufacturing the single-use bioreactor and the head plate. The single-use bioreactor comprises a head plate, a dimensionally stable container and a mixer, the head plate and the container enclosing a reaction chamber, and the mixer having a mixer shaft and a stirring member, said mixer shaft being mounted rotatably about a rotational axis in a bearing and the stirring member being fastened torsionally rigidly to the mixer shaft. The mixer and the bearing are arranged entirely within the reaction chamber and the mixer shaft has a magnetic portion which is arranged and adapted in such a way that it can be coupled magnetically in an axial direction to a rotary drive.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a configuration control device for a laboratory instrument, a laboratory instrument with a configuration control device for instrument-controlled treatment of at least one laboratory sample and a method for configuring the laboratory instrument by means of the configuration control device. By using user-dependent configuration data, the requirement for the user of having to perform a completely manual configuration of the laboratory instrument, which is effected by the user-dependent configuration data, is dispensed with.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a laboratory instrument for the instrument-controlled handling of a partial problem in a treatment process which contains treatments of at least one laboratory sample. The invention moreover relates to a system containing a plurality of such laboratory instruments, wherein the system serves for the instrument-controlled handling of a problem containing a plurality of these partial problems in the treatment process of at least one laboratory sample. And the invention relates to a method for the instrument-controlled handling of a partial problem in a treatment process which contains treatments of at least one laboratory sample.
