摘要: Traction control using multiple actuators is provided. A system can identify a slip for a vehicle wheel based on a difference between a wheel motion and a vehicle motion. The system can determine an amount of torque to apply to the wheel to adjust the slip to satisfy the slip target. The system can distribute a first portion of the torque to apply to the wheel via a first actuator of the plurality of actuators and a second portion of the torque to apply to the wheel via a second actuator of the plurality of actuators. The system can provide commands to cause the first actuator to apply the first portion of the amount of torque and cause the second actuator to apply the second portion of the amount of torque to adjust the slip of the wheel.

摘要: The present solution preserves an amount of charge sufficient to reach a nearest or most convenient charger in a battery of a vehicle during a prolonged vehicle disuse. The solution can include a data processing system that can identify an inactive state of a battery and determine that the vehicle should enter an energy reservation mode. The data processing system can identify a vehicle charger and determine, based on a location of the vehicle and the charger, an amount of energy needed for the vehicle to reach the charging unit. The data processing system can determine a power reservation threshold for the first battery and modify, based on the power reservation threshold, a level of energy provided by the first battery to the second battery to maintain at least the first amount of amount of energy in the first battery.

摘要: A battery system for an electric vehicle includes a fixed cover, and a removable cover arranged over battery modules and a high voltage distribution system. The battery system includes a busbar arranged at least partially over a region of the battery modules and under the removable cover. The busbar includes a fixed section and a movable section, or a hinge, such that the busbar can be repositioned out of the way. The support tray includes a link between the fixed and movable sections. Floating fasteners, allowing at least one of radial float and axial float are used to secure the link to the support tray, thereby avoiding safety hazards and reducing the potential for short circuits in high voltage distribution systems or conductors thereof. The floating fasteners include a head, a neck, an engagement section, and a washer, which prevent removal from a component once installed.

An automotive electric vehicle system includes a high voltage battery system including an enclosure, an electric powertrain system, a radiator, coolant lines that permit coolant flow between the high voltage battery system, the power train system and the radiator, one or more valves for routing coolant along the coolant lines, and a controller. The controller is configured to control the one or more valves to control the flow of coolant among a plurality of different, selectable coolant flow states involving the high voltage battery system, the powertrain system and the radiator.

摘要: High voltage discharge is provided. A system can include an electric motor of an electric vehicle electrically connected to a capacitor. A switching component can be connected with and intermediary to the electric motor and the capacitor. A controller can cause the switching component to enter a first state to cause the electric motor to convert electrical power of the capacitor to mechanical power to propel the electric vehicle, or convert mechanical power from a drive system of the electric vehicle to electrical power to charge the capacitor. The controller can cause the switching component to enter, in response to detection by the controller of an indication to discharge the capacitor, a second state to isolate the electric motor from the capacitor.
