Abstract: An information display device includes a display unit configured to display information about an object such that the information about the object at least partially overlaps with forward view of a user, and a controller configured to control display of the display unit. The controller is configured to estimate or acquire a prospective moving direction of the object, acquire a sight-line frequency representing a frequency with which a sight-line of the user is directed to the object within a prescribed period, determine whether the sight-line frequency is equal to or more than a prescribed frequency threshold, and cause the display unit to display the prospective moving direction of the object at least on condition that the controller determines that the sight-line frequency is less than the frequency threshold.

Abstract: An on-vehicle interface apparatus includes a touch screen and an I/F controller. The I/F controller stores a first message and a second message having a lower urgency level in association with respective events. The I/F controller displays operation switches including operation switches regarding traveling of a vehicle irrespectively of the events on the touch screen, and, in response to occurrence of an event, displays a corresponding message on the touch screen. The I/F controller, in response to detection of a touch operation on a display region of the first message during display of the first message, outputs to the vehicle controller a signal that instructs execution of the driving control corresponding to the first message.

Abstract: There is provided a vehicle system including a sensing unit, a processing unit, a control unit and a display unit. The sensing unit is configured to capture an image frame containing an eyeball image from a predetermined distance. The processing unit is configured to calculate a pupil position of the eyeball image in the image frame and generate a drive signal corresponding to the pupil position. The control unit is configured to trigger a vehicle device associated with the pupil position according to the drive signal. The display unit is configured to show information of the vehicle device.

Abstract: A driving assistance apparatus includes a controller programmed to perform a deceleration assistance process of assisting in decelerating a vehicle before the vehicle arrives at a deceleration object, and to control a display apparatus to display, in a first display area, first notification information for notifying an occupant of the vehicle of the deceleration object that is a target for the deceleration assistance process. When a first object and a second object that is different from the first object are both detected as the deceleration object and the second object is the target for the deceleration assistance process but the first object is not the target for the deceleration assistance process, the controller is programmed to control the display apparatus to display, in a second display area, second notification information for notifying the occupant of the first object, the second display area is different from the first display area.

Abstract: The invention is an apparatus used for providing control of functions of a vehicle in response to touch commands of an authorized passenger. The functions for which the authorized passenger is provided control are disallowed to the driver when the vehicle is moving. The passenger is authorized with two-factor authentication. The first of the two factors is the fingerprint of the passenger which is enrolled before vehicle movement. The second factor is the location of the passenger. The first factor is used when an occupant attempts to control disallowed functions. The second factor is used when an occupant attempts to enroll a fingerprint. A display panel displays a prompt to enroll a fingerprint before vehicle movement, uses a fingerprint interface to enroll an original fingerprint, and instantaneously captures fingerprints of those attempting to control disallowed functions and compares them to enrolled fingerprints.

Abstract: A method for operating a field-of-vision display device for a motor vehicle, including an electrically controllable planar pixel assembly for generating a projection light beam having a display content and a reflection-suppressing deflection assembly, which is arranged on the planar pixel assembly and includes one or more flat reflection surfaces, extending along the planar pixel assembly at a predefined acute angle thereto and parallel to one another, for projecting the generated projection light beam onto a partially transparent, reflective projection pane, including a windshield of the motor vehicle, as a result of which a virtual display image shown in a field of vision of a user is generated behind the projection pane, wherein: the one or more reflection surfaces are each light-absorbing on the rear side thereof in order to suppress interfering reflection; at least one driving situation parameter is provided, in dependence on which different area segments of the planar pixel assembly are used to generate a desired display content.
