摘要: At a sensor electrode of a steering wheel, a protruding portion protrudes from a main body portion. A first thread and a second thread each extend in the protruding portion and effect conduction between a terminal at the protruding portion and a main body portion. Therefore, even if there is no conduction between the first thread and the second thread at intersection portions between the first thread and second thread in the protruding portion, the first thread and the second thread may each effect conduction between the terminal and the main body portion, and a degradation of conduction performance of the sensor electrode may be suppressed.

摘要: A vehicle comprises user inputs, a monitoring system for detecting and monitoring a pet within the vehicle, and a controller processing signals generated by the monitoring system and determining a location of the pet based on the monitored signals. The controller controls activation of the user input controls based on the determined location of the pet to disable an operating mode of one or more of the user inputs when the pet is detected proximate to the user inputs.

摘要: A display device for a vehicle includes a display panel, a control circuitry, and a supporting arrangement. The display panel displays a graphic display object and the control circuitry enables the displaying of the graphic display object, such that the information represented by the graphic display object is displayed based on a predefined physical environment condition. The supporting arrangement supports the display panel which is adjustable between a first position and a second position. In the first position, the graphic display object is visually accessible to a user inside the vehicle and in the second position, the graphic display object is visually accessible to at least one person outside the vehicle.

摘要: The invention is an apparatus used for providing control of functions of a vehicle in response to touch commands of an authorized passenger. The functions for which the authorized passenger is provided control are disallowed to the driver when the vehicle is moving. The passenger is authorized with two-factor authentication. The first of the two factors is the fingerprint of the passenger which is enrolled before vehicle movement. The second factor is the location of the passenger. The first factor is used when an occupant attempts to control disallowed functions. The second factor is used when an occupant attempts to enroll a fingerprint. A display panel displays a prompt to enroll a fingerprint before vehicle movement, uses a fingerprint interface to enroll an original fingerprint, and instantaneously captures fingerprints of those attempting to control disallowed functions and compares them to enrolled fingerprints.

Based on the state indications a determination is made as to whether a HUD power control condition is met. If a HUD power control condition is met a corresponding HUD power control action is determined. A set of HUD power control commands corresponding to the HUD power control action is sent to the HUD to control the HUD to take the power control action.

摘要: A system for determining a condition of a roadway a vehicle is traveling on includes an illumination device, a camera, a display, and a vehicle controller in electrical communication with the illumination device, the camera, and the display. The vehicle controller is programmed to project the light beam onto the roadway surface using the illumination device. The vehicle controller is further programmed to capture a plurality of images of the light beam on the roadway surface using the camera as the vehicle is in motion. The vehicle controller is further programmed to determine a severity of a deformation in the roadway surface based at least in part on the plurality of images of the light beam on the roadway surface. The vehicle controller is further programmed to notify the occupant of the vehicle using the display based on the severity of the deformation in the roadway surface.

摘要: A driver position assist system is disclosed. The driver position assist system may include a transceiver configured to receive a vehicle component configuration from a vehicle. The driver position assist system may further include a processor configured to obtain the vehicle component configuration from the transceiver. The processor may be further configured to estimate a vehicle user position inside the vehicle based on the vehicle component configuration. The processor may further determine whether a vehicle user head portion is in a driver-facing camera field of view (FOV) based on the estimation of the vehicle user position. The processor may additionally determine an updated vehicle component configuration based on the vehicle user position, when the vehicle user head portion is in not in the camera FOV. Furthermore, the processor may transmit the updated vehicle component configuration to a user interface.

摘要: A method for displaying lane information on an augmented reality display includes receiving roadway data. The roadway data includes information about a roadway along a route of a vehicle. The roadway includes a plurality of lanes. The roadway data includes lane information about at least one of the plurality of lanes along the route of the vehicle. The method further includes receiving vehicle-location data. The vehicle-location data indicates a location of the vehicle. The method further includes determining that that the vehicle is approaching a road junction using the vehicle-location data and the roadway data. The method further includes, in response to determining that the vehicle is approaching the road junction, transmitting a command signal to a dual-focal plane augmented reality display to display at least one virtual image that is indicative of the lane information.
