Abstract: A surveillance camera system according to an embodiment of the present disclosure comprises: multiple surveillance cameras for capturing images of different surveillance regions to surveil a protection object; an event management server which is connected to the surveillance cameras through a communication network and receives a first event signal or a second event signal from at least one of the surveillance cameras; and a manager terminal for receiving event information corresponding to the second event signal from the event management server when the second event signal is generated, wherein the first event signal corresponds to a signal generated when the protection object is detected by at least one of the multiple surveillance cameras, and the second event signal corresponds to a signal generated when the protection object is detected by none of the multiple surveillance cameras during a preconfigured reference time.

Abstract: Systems and methods of pairing product labels with products located on a product storage structure of a product storage facility include an image capture device that captures one or more images of the product storage structure and a computing device that obtains images of the product storage structure captured by the image capture device, analyzes the obtained images to detect product labels and products located on the product storage structure, and crops the detected individual products and individual price tag labels from the images to generate cropped images. Then the computing device stitches the cropped price tag label and product images, receives one or more characters extracted from the portions of the stitched images corresponding to the cropped images, and associates, based on known positional coordinates of the products and product labels in the stitched images, the received extracted characters with corresponding cropped images of the products and product labels.

Abstract: A vehicle, in a temporary stop state during driving, is configured to identify a passenger failing to re-board after alighting, and communicate with the passenger to guide the passenger to re-board the vehicle. A method of controlling the vehicle includes primarily checking a number of passengers inside the vehicle through analysis of a first image obtained by photographing an interior of the vehicle when the vehicle enters a stop state during driving; in response to the vehicle being restarted after the stop, secondly checking the number of the passengers inside the vehicle through analysis of a second image obtained by photographing the interior of the vehicle; and in response to the secondly checked number of the passengers being less than the primarily checked number of the passengers, identifying that the passenger failing to re-board after alighting from the vehicle exists.

Abstract: Disclosed are an information processing method and a terminal device. The method comprises: acquiring first information, wherein the first information is information to be processed by a terminal device; calling an operation instruction in a calculation apparatus to calculate the first information so as to obtain second information; and outputting the second information. By means of the examples in the present disclosure, a calculation apparatus of a terminal device can be used to call an operation instruction to process first information, so as to output second information of a target desired by a user, thereby improving the information processing efficiency. The present technical solution has advantages of a fast computation speed and high efficiency.

Abstract: 3D object detection is a computer vision task that generally detects (e.g. classifies and localizes) objects in 3D space from the 2D images or videos that capture the objects. Current techniques used for 3D object detection rely on machine learning processes that learn to detect 3D objects from existing images annotated with high-quality 3D information including depth information generally obtained using lidar technology. However, due to lidar's limited measurable range, current machine learning solutions to 3D object detection do not support detection of 3D objects beyond the lidar range, which is needed for numerous applications, including autonomous driving applications where existing close or midrange 3D object detection does not always meet the safety-critical requirement of autonomous driving. The present disclosure provides for 3D object detection using a technique that supports long-range detection (i.e. detection beyond the lidar range).
