    摘要: An illumination apparatus for the interior of a motor vehicle includes a housing on which a light-transmissive cover is provided, and an illuminant configured to produce light in the interior of the housing, the light emerging from the illumination apparatus through the cover to illuminate the interior. The cover includes a faceted outer surface made of a plurality of plane facets. Further, the illuminant includes one or more flat lighting elements in the interior of the housing, each flat lighting element having two extensive opposing side surfaces and an edge situated between the side surfaces, the illuminant being configured such that light is emitted through both side surfaces of a respective flat lighting element during operation, with the light emerging from the illumination apparatus through the cover.

    摘要: Provided are an apparatus and a method for analyzing a state of a vehicle occupant and performing illumination and image output control by a projector in units of a screen sectioned area of a vehicle ceiling, in accordance with an analysis result. There is provided a data processing unit configured to execute state analysis of an occupant of a vehicle and execute output control of a projector in accordance with an occupant analysis result. The data processing unit performs projector control of outputting illumination light having luminance determined in accordance with the occupant analysis result, in units of a sectioned area of a screen of a vehicle ceiling on which projector output light is outputted. The data processing unit analyzes a state of an occupant on the basis of a camera-captured image, and outputs illumination light having luminance determined in accordance with an occupant state, in units of a screen sectioned area above each occupant.

The component may comprise a composite layer/structure and light source to provide light at a first and a second visible color/wavelength. The composite layer may comprise light-transmissive segments with color and light-transmissive transparent/translucent segments; light at the first wavelength is transmitted through a first segment and transparent/translucent segment to present a first image/visual effect at the display region; light at the second wavelength is transmitted through a second segment and transparent/translucent segment to present a second image/visual effect at the display region; light at the first wavelength is obstructed by the second segment; light at the second wavelength is obstructed by the first segment; transparent/translucent segments transmit light at first and second wavelengths. The composite layer may comprise a multi-layer form on the cover.
