摘要: An axial rotary energy device including a segmented stator assembly having a plurality of segments arranged in an annular array. Each stator segment is constructed by stacking a plurality of PCB power conductor layers and a plurality of PCB series layers. Each layer having radial conductors extending from an inner via to an outer via. The vias electrically connect selected radial conductors of the series conductor layer and power conductor layer. Each power conductor layer includes a pair of positive and negative terminal vias for one phase of the electric current connected to selected outer vias. A daughter PCB layer electrically connects two adjacent segments together by having a first portion electrically connected to a negative terminal via located in one segment and a second portion electrically connected to a positive terminal via located in an adjacent segment together with a current conductor electrically connecting the two terminal vias together.

Each stator segment also can include only one electrical phase. The stator itself can include one or more electrical phases.

The fluid circulating assembly also includes a controller assembly coupled to the housing. The said controller assembly is positioned radially outward from the stator assembly and located in at least one of the at least two extension portions.

摘要: An axial-type rotary electric machine that improves a torque and an efficiency relative to a size of a rotor is provided. The axial-type rotary electric machine is provided with a stator having a stator core, and a rotor facing the stator along an axial direction of a rotation axis passing through the stator. The rotor includes a permanent magnet arranged so as to face the stator core in the axial direction of the rotation axis, a yoke arranged so as to face the stator core across the permanent magnet, and a support member supporting the yoke. The support member includes a protrusion protruding so as to face a side surface of the permanent magnet that is on the farther side to the rotation axis. In projection along the axial direction of the rotation axis, a first region where a projecting portion of the permanent magnet does not overlap a projecting portion of the yoke is formed in the permanent magnet, and the first region is formed on the outer-diameter side of the permanent magnet and the first region is formed on a side of the protrusion.

摘要: A motor includes a frame, a shaft rotatably mounted onto the frame, and at least one disc mounted onto the shaft. At least one permanent magnet is mounted on the disc, and at least one electromagnet and at least one coil are mounted to the frame in rotational magnetic proximity to the permanent magnet. A battery is connectable to the electromagnet and the coil for energizing the electromagnet and for receiving electrical current from the coil for charging the battery. A relay switch controls the transmission of electrical power from the battery to the electromagnet. A sensor generates a signal to the relay switch to activate electrical power to the electromagnet upon sensing that the permanent magnet is positioned with respect to the electromagnet such that a magnetic force generated by the electromagnet would be effective for inducing movement of the permanent magnet and consequent rotation of the disc.

摘要: An electric drive system including: a rotary motor system including a hub assembly, a first rotating assembly, a second rotating assembly, and a third rotating assembly, wherein the hub assembly defines a rotational axis about which the first rotating assembly, the second rotating assembly, and the third rotating assembly are coaxially aligned and are capable of independent rotational movement independent of each other; a mechanical guide system supporting the hub assembly and constraining movement of the hub assembly so that the rotational axis of the hub assembly moves along a defined path that is in a transverse direction relative to the rotational axis; and a multi-bar linkage mechanism connecting to each of the first and third rotating assemblies and connecting the hub assembly to the mechanical guide system, wherein the multi-bar linkage mechanism causes the rotational axis of the hub assembly to translate along the defined path in response to relative rotation of the first rotating assembly and third rotating assembly with respect to each other.

The first magnetic interference model represents a relationship of a linkage magnetic flux Φin of the rotor winding (30) with respect to a current Iin in the rotor winding (30) and a current Iout in the stator winding (20). The second magnetic interference model represents a relationship of a linkage magnetic flux Φout of the stator winding (20) with respect to the current Iin, Iout.

摘要: A power generation system is provided configured for installation within a wheel of a vehicle. The system includes a stator having a plurality of face-mounted permanent magnets; and a rotor having a plurality of windings configured to rotate, with rotation of the wheel, in proximity to the permanent magnets thereby generating a current. The stator is mounted to a brake caliper of the vehicle. Also provided is a wheel-based vehicle display system including a light emitting diode (LED) array arranged on or within a wheel of a vehicle; a power source connected thereto; and a controller connected to the LED array. The display system is configured to display at least one of: textual information, visual images or full-motion video.
